Chereads / The Rise of the Blood Mosquito / Chapter 90 - Chapter 9: Rage!

Chapter 90 - Chapter 9: Rage!

In a quiet corner of this narrow city, a large mosquito perched in the darkness, its compound eyes reflecting the glow of a computer screen as it diligently worked.

This was a sight that would astonish anyone who saw it!

Of course, no one knew what kind of monster would be created once this job was finished!

"Considering the load-bearing and dispersal of impact force, I must do it this way... these wings are a bit tricky, but I'd rather sacrifice some maneuverability to ensure my own safety, so it must be done like this... not right, this part should be detachable. And it must conform to my own body structure, not something that fits but can't be taken off!"

In just three short hours, Jia Yan's imagination could truly be said to have run wild!

Combining the rough ideas from many days prior with some sudden inspirations.

When the final plan, which was just a sketch, was sent to the two assassins on the other side of the ocean, they were simply amazed.

Was this a metal model?!

But it looked extremely precise, and some parts could only be machined by top-tier factories!

After reviewing the entire sketch and some data indicators, both assassins couldn't help but smile bitterly.

It seemed they had agreed too early. Just assembling this model, which required hundreds of parts, would not come cheap in terms of manual labor, and it also required precision. In fact, without several hundred thousand Huaxia coins, it would be impossible to afford it. And even that amount was only possible because the factory in Germany was run by acquaintances within their organization, offering a discounted price.

"Forget it. We've already given our word, so we can't take it back. Send out the blueprints. It'll cost us tens of thousands, but we'll split it between us!"

The young man with glasses shook his head helplessly, then turned on his computer. He made basic modifications to the images, as well as refining and professionally modeling them.

Neither of them thought that this metal model was just some special personal hobby. They even considered using their connections to obtain a special-grade military metal from the organization, only for this metal model. Was it really worth it?

But now that the words were out, they could only hope that this "senior" would remember their favor...

After completing the basic modeling and other work, the young man with glasses sent the drawings and some data to the factory they had already contacted via email.

Because of Jia Yan's request to complete it as soon as possible, he was also urging them very anxiously!

On the side of the German factory, it was obvious that they took it seriously and received the drawings at the first opportunity. Then, with the meticulous spirit of the Germans, they started working!

This group of people had no idea that the thing they spent so much effort making would become a real weapon!

"All right, I've done all I can. Now it's just waiting."

On the side of Tumen City, to save electricity, Jia Yan turned off his computer after confirming the data with the two assassins for the last time.

Now all he could do was wait!

But at this moment, a faint noise reached Jia Yan's ears!

Bang!

That was gunfire!

Jia Yan was startled and stood up!

As someone who had heard gunfire several times recently and even been grazed by a bullet, he was very sensitive to gunshots!

That was definitely not firecrackers or fireworks; it was gunfire!

How could there be gunfire?!

Jia Yan felt puzzled.

This should be very rare in Huaxia, right?

Bang! Bang! Bang!

And it wasn't just once; it sounded like a real barrage of gunfire!

Jia Yan couldn't sit still. After hiding his laptop even more discreetly, he quietly took off.

At two or three in the morning, when humans were ideally asleep, many people were still unaware even with such intense gunfire. However, if the gunfire continued like this, it would definitely soon cause a commotion!

Taking full advantage of the darkness of the night, Jia Yan flew to the outskirts of the alley where the gunfire was coming from.

Sure enough, a thrilling gun battle was happening right before his eyes!

Two men with foreign faces were fighting against five heavily armed soldiers.

One of the men was a middle-aged man holding a famous pistol, the Desert Eagle. As an enthusiast of biology, Jia Yan had heard that there was a powerful large-caliber pistol that no creature on Earth could withstand. It shouldn't be called a handgun; it should be called a hand cannon. So he specifically looked it up and learned that this so-called king of handguns was indeed extremely powerful.

Now, this middle-aged man was using this pistol.

With a bang, this pistol fired a bullet. The elite soldiers on the opposite side, apparently the cream of the crop, were already seeking cover in the shadows of the buildings when the enemy attacked.

But one residential building wasn't so lucky and was directly hit by the Desert Eagle's bullet, creating a huge hole, as if it had been hit by artillery fire.

"Ah!" A woman's scream came from inside the building.

Just as Jia Yan was observing the situation outside, chaos erupted on the street.

However, the people involved in the gunfight showed no signs of nervousness and continued their battle!

"What's going on? What kind of battle is this? Why haven't the city's police intervened? There are only a few people who seem to be from the military fighting against two foreigners!" Jia Yan was somewhat confused.

But he quickly noticed police cars arriving. Several emergency police cars and SWAT vehicles rushed to the vicinity of the street, but they did not join the battlefield; instead, they hurriedly evacuated the crowd.

Two people who looked like journalists appeared, with one person carrying a camera. However, under the obstruction of a civilian police officer, they had to put down the camera and switch to using a camera to take photos.

Seems like there are restrictions?

What kind of battle is this after all?

Could it be an exercise?

It didn't seem like it since real guns were being used. It shouldn't have much to do with an exercise!

The two sides fought fiercely. Before long, Jia Yan saw the younger of the two foreigners throw out a black object the size of an egg.

A hand grenade?!

Just as Jia Yan realized what it was, the grenade had already been thrown several dozen meters, landing among several heavily armed soldiers, and then exploded in a bright flash!

Boom!

A deafening sound shook the earth.

Hand grenades contained steel balls, which were the most powerful part of the explosion. When the grenade exploded, the steel balls scattered in all directions, hitting all the soldiers!

Two foreigners with guns in their hands had cold smiles on their faces.

Jia Yan was amazed to see that out of the five soldiers hit by the grenade, only two were hit by the shrapnel due to blind spots in their protective gear, and the others were unharmed. They continued fighting, with only some damage to their protective gear!

"I didn't expect our Huaxia to develop such exaggerated combat armor! How did they manage that? I remember the biggest danger from explosions, apart from shrapnel, is the shockwave. A shockwave could rupture all your internal organs. Are these soldiers special humans?"

The battle on the battlefield continued, but with two wounded soldiers retreating, it became a

three-against-two situation. Although the Huaxia soldiers still had the numerical advantage, they couldn't beat the two foreigners. Now with only three of them, victory was even less likely!

And the biggest danger was to the nearby buildings, with several of them showing signs of collapse due to the powerful bullets and explosives, one of them even having a collapsed wall!

"These are the two foreigners that appeared on TV! They've been on the run for three days, what's wrong with us in Huaxia? How come we can't catch them." Suddenly, Jia Yan felt someone approaching.

He quickly squeezed his body into a dried-up ditch on the side of the road. In the dim environment, unless someone paid close attention, no one would know there was a huge mosquito in the ditch.

"These two foreigners have been fighting and killing their way from a small city near Beijing. Now they've come to our Tumen City. What are the police doing?"

It turned out that two foreign special personnel, after being intercepted by six soldiers in a small city, not only did not stop but instead quickly moved towards a certain direction within Huaxia.

And in order to prevent any conflict with the United States, Huaxia was trying its best to suppress the incident. During the day, due to the large number of people, the soldiers were ordered not to attack.

But this situation didn't lead to the expected result of the other side understanding and leaving the country quietly. Instead, they became even more fierce in their fights against the Huaxia soldiers!

Such high-level battles could not be concealed, and some television media began to broadcast that these two were members of an international armed criminal gang.

Fortunately, their actions in Huaxia had not caused casualties among ordinary people. Otherwise, the public pressure would have been even greater.

Even so, Huaxia was on the verge of exploding. No country could tolerate armed personnel from another country fighting openly within its borders. Now there were many unofficial inquiries being made to the United States, but there was no response at all.

Today was even more extreme. The other side had actually caused a large-scale battle in a border city, which even affected several residential buildings!

I wonder if any civilians were injured.

Huaxia could no longer sit still. A hundred elite soldiers, who had been trailing behind, were about to enter the battlefield.

One of the six soldiers had been injured in a previous battle, and now, with two more wounded by hand grenades, the remaining three soldiers were struggling!

This wasn't because the Huaxia soldiers were incompetent, but because the other side seized on the fact that the Huaxia soldiers were fighting in their own cities and couldn't afford to cause too much damage, so they continued to eliminate the Huaxia soldiers through attrition.

People continued to run out of the damaged buildings. A three or four-year-old girl was held in her mother's arms. Their house happened to face the street on the second floor, and it had just been hit by a grenade, shattering the windows.

The wall of the house collapsed, and the residents thought the whole house was about to collapse, so they all rushed outside!

"Don't come out, go back inside!" someone from the soldiers shouted.

But it was too late. The middle-aged man with the Desert Eagle, his face twisted with a grim expression, aimed his gun at the little girl who had been thrown from her mother's arms to the ground several meters away!

He was about to shoot!

The soldier either had to throw himself in front of the bullets or let the little girl die!

"Bastard! He's not even sparing a little girl!"

Unexpectedly, this action made a huge mosquito, which happened to be nearby, furious!
