Chapter 3 - Chapter003, The Trap

The train broadcast with static noise repeated the previous message, "BUZZ... Please all passengers stay in place and wait for the arrival of the Bunny Police..."

Although the wording sounded polite, it carried a hint of threat.

In the pitch-black darkness, only Gu Cheng's eyes were particularly bright!

"This bastard is definitely not an ordinary passenger... What's his background!" Little Fin, who hit a snag, had an ugly expression.

According to the original plan, she was supposed to swap the body of "that person" with Gu Cheng's identity, and her companion would fake the scene of death, while she would take the unconscious Gu Cheng to poison and hide him in the compartment.

Next, all they needed to do was to pin the blame for killing "that person" on Gu Cheng's corpse...

It was supposed to be a perfectly rehearsed assassination, but it inexplicably fell into the hands of this newcomer.

Not only was she controlled by this weirdo, but the Bunny Police were also on their way!

Little Fin was at her wit's end. There were several new passengers with similar builds to "that person," why did she pick this bastard?!

She knew very well that this was no malfunction, and talk of emergency repairs was just nonsense!

Most likely, the train staff had discovered unexpected passengers like her among the passengers and were currently inspecting each compartment...

Now she could only hope that her teammates would come quickly to help.

With the train losing power and the Bunny Police approaching, even if her teammates were dumb, they should know that something was wrong here, and the likelihood of them rushing over to save the day was high.

Thinking like this, Little Fin looked at Gu Cheng, pondering her escape plan.

In the silence of the darkness, she could only vaguely see Gu Cheng's figure, but the occasional sound of movement in the compartment undoubtedly indicated that he was not idle.

Little Fin's heart skipped a beat. "Is that guy preparing something... Is he planning to hand me over to the train administrator for credit?"

The more she thought about it, the more likely it seemed.

"No! I have to do something... Before Second Blade arrives, I must at least remind him that there's danger here!"

So, she frantically moved her hand towards her leg, but Gu Cheng had tied some strange knots with the belt and when her hand moved, it unexpectedly pulled her ankle, causing her to lose her balance.

"Thump!" Little Fin fell from the seat to the ground.

Immediately, she sensed Gu Cheng walking over in the dark and squatting beside her!

"This kind of bondage, for an inexperienced maid like you, must be quite an experience..." Gu Cheng scratched his face in the darkness, reminiscing with a nostalgic tone, "Harry Quinn would be delighted by this!"

Then, suddenly, Little Fin felt her legs getting cold, and before she could react, Gu Cheng stuffed her knee-high black stockings back into her mouth!

"Mmm... Mmm..."

Tears welled up in Little Fin's eyes.

Her heart was filled with terror at this moment, and reminding her teammate was completely forgotten.

She felt Gu Cheng's breath getting closer...

"Now, I think it's time we talked about ransom!" Gu Cheng's voice was filled with excitement. "How much money do you think your teammates can afford?"

Little Fin widened her eyes, "Mmm... Mmm???"

Too shocked! Was this the legendary kidnapping?!!

Gu Cheng thought for a moment, "However... cases of betrayal among teammates are not uncommon. To prevent scaring off my fat sheep, you'll have to stay under the bed for a while..."

The gap under the bed wasn't big, so it might take some effort to fit Little Fin in, but that didn't faze Gu Cheng.

He came up with a new binding posture for the maid, which reduced her volume quite a bit, so it was easy for him to stuff her underneath.

Now, the whimpering sounds were much lighter. Well... as long as he claimed it was a pet like a puppy, it would be enough to fool them.

Little Fin, the maid, never dreamed that one day she would be stuffed under the bed like an object.

She glared angrily outside, but because of the darkness, she could only barely see Gu Cheng's legs.

She saw him pause by the coffee table for a moment, seeming to be tinkering with something, and then he walked to the bed...

"What's he doing..."

Amidst her anger, Little Fin couldn't help but be curious.

"Bang!" Suddenly, the sound of glass breaking came, followed by a muffled groan.

Then, a bit of sticky liquid dripped onto the carpet by the bed, and the smell of rust filled the air...

It was blood!!!

"I didn't see anyone come in! Where did the blood come from? Could it be..."

Little Fin suddenly realized something, her face turning even uglier, feeling a bit terrified now!

"That guy... is self-harming! Where did this bloody ice come from?!"

While Little Fin was horrified under the bed, she had no idea that Gu Cheng's performance on the other side was just getting started!

"Help! Bunny Police, help! Someone's been murdered!!!" Gu Cheng's screams and calls for help tore through the darkness, pierced through the wall, and spread into the distance.

A footstep immediately came from the aisle outside the compartment!

The reason for using "a" as the quantifier was purely because the footsteps were strange, giving the impression that the person was hopping forward.

Even though the aisle outside was carpeted, the footsteps were still clear, indicating that the person either had a limp or was...

a Bunny Police.

"Creak..." The compartment door opened from the outside.

A dazzling beam of a flashlight shone in, first sweeping the scene inside the compartment left and right, and the red pupils of the newcomer reflected the mess inside the compartment.

The table was askew, chairs were tilted, paintings had fallen... and there were even vase fragments on the floor, as well as blood everywhere.

It was obvious that there had been a big fight.

The beam soon fixed on the bed, where a man was curled up, hands covering a bleeding head, not knowing if he was alive or dead...

The Bunny Police took a small step forward, entered the compartment, and the three-lipped mouth of the bunny actually spoke human language, "Gululu... Sir! Are you okay? Can you hear me? Was there an attack on you?!!"

The man on the bed's shoulder trembled slightly, let out a groan, and clumsily sat up, then fell back down.

This man looked seriously injured!

The Bunny Police hopped forward to inspect, avoiding the glass shards on the ground, but unexpectedly tripped over an overturned recliner, and suddenly PIA! fell right into a mess.

Falling was bad enough, but what made the Bunny Police's luck even worse was that it landed right in Gu Cheng's pool of blood and ended up with a mouthful of fresh blood.

Ptui! Ptui! Ptui! Ptui!!!

The Bunny Police retched violently.

The new recruits who boarded the train hadn't even undergone a health check. What if they got infected with some blood-borne disease after ingesting so much blood?

Fortunately! The broken flashlight happened to shine on a cup of water.

Without a second thought, the Bunny Police hastily grabbed it, took a big gulp, and after a series of gulping sounds, finally spat it out on the ground, after repeating this several times, it seemed to calm down.

It smacked its lips.

Bunny Police: ???

"Almond water? Tastes pretty good!" Looking at the remaining half cup of delicious liquid, the Bunny Police suddenly heard urgent "whimpers" coming from under the bed...

"Whimper... Whimper...!!! Whimper... Whimper... Whimper...!!!"

"Where did this puppy come from? These passengers are really something! Bringing a dog to the Shinkansen to say goodbye to life! Still, bringing a dog?!! No wonder someone got their head smashed! Tsk!"

"Whimper... Whimper...!!! Whimper... Whimper...!!!"

Amidst the whimpering, the Bunny Police glanced around, then took a gulp, gulping down the almond water in one go.
