In the bustling streets of Konoha, a sleek black cat perched on a weathered stone wall. He was a stray, but something had changed about him recently. A Human soul named Takeshi now resided within the half-year-old feline, imbuing it with Human wisdom.
Takeshi couldn't fathom how he had traveled through dimensions, only recalling a menacing black cat blocking the road and his own untimely demise by a passing car.
When he awoke the following day, he found himself in the form of a cat, memories and Hooman consciousness intact, but unable to speak. Fortunately, he possessed a "Cheat" that could alter the course of his life - the Bully System.
...
Host: Takeshi
Age: half a year old
Points: 32
Chakra: N/A
Ability: Claw attack, flexible body [Innate ability]
Item space: Fish x1
The marketplace was brimming with tantalizing goods, but Takeshi hesitated to explore. The cheapest special cat food cost a staggering 100 points, which promised to enhance a cat's physical prowess if consumed regularly. Even the possibility of evolving him into a ninja cat was within reach if he could actually afford it.
The "Metamorphosis Pill" worth a thousand points, allowed a cat to shed its Normalcy and gain the ability to utilize chakra. With a single pill, Takeshi could become a ninja cat. Among the other items were Special Techniques, Jutsu's , Kekkei Genkai's and more, each carrying an exorbitant price tag.
Takeshi also discovered a Gacha function, offering one hundred and one shots, with ten consecutive shots rewarding an extra shot. However, as he stared at the meager thirty-two points in his possession, he understood that he had a long way to go. He was in dire straits and couldn't afford anything.
There was no other choice. In order to rid himself of the weak young kitten status and accumulate more points, Takeshi would have to continue his mischievous ways.
He glanced guiltily at a nearby sushi restaurant owner, who watched the alley with a cautious eye, and decided against stealing his fish for today. Instead, he would harvest points from another unsuspecting victim.
At that moment, a young man wearing goggles raced towards him in a panic. Uchiha Obito? Perfect. Just a perfect target.
Takeshi licked his paws, then leaped up and landed in the middle of the road with a ferocious Roar.
"Nyaa~"
"Kitten, don't block the way, I'm almost late..." Obito was worried. Though being tardy was practically a daily occurrence for him, who wouldn't want to avoid punishment if they could?
"Meow!" Takeshi roared again, acting as if he is a powerful tiger from the jungle. However, he forgot that he was merely half a year old.
A half-year-old cat that had just gained the ability to survive on his own and was still in the kitten stage. His meowing and ferocity didn't quite match up, and no matter how powerful he was, he still sounded like a baby.
So Obito was not angry. He was just anxious and wanted to go around, but the cat was incredibly agile, darting back and forth, blocking his path.
"Please let me go. I'm going to be late. I don't want to be punished!" Obito was desperate. Yet, even in his desperation, he didn't viciously want to kick Takeshi or anything else. Instead, he begged the kitten for mercy.
I have to say... he was indeed a kind-hearted Obito. It's a pity that Madara would arrange crazy things for him in the future... Takeshi sighed inwardly.
Then, he heard a bell ringing, which was the sound of classes starting at the Ninja Academy - Obito was already late.
At the same time, on the system panel:
"Prank 'Blockcat' completed."
"You have earned 150 points."
Sorry. For 150 points, I could only wrong you. Takeshi felt guilty and silently moved out of the way, planning to let Obito pass.
However, he then thought about it, he was still a homeless cat, wouldn't it be nice if he could team up with Obito? Obito is so kind and has a good temper, he is simply a living tool to earn points.
Hmm... worth considering. Takeshi pondered for a moment, and Obito rushed over ecstatically, but after running a few steps, he came back:
"Kitten, thank you, I'll treat you to dried fish when I get out of Academy."
'Stupid Hooman, you are already late.' Takeshi complained in his heart. As a cat, his hearing was much stronger than that of Hoomans, so he heard the bell but didn't let Obito know that he was already late.
Seeing that Obito was about to run away, he quickly moved to catch up. This cat is slow, don't run! Cats are generally very fast and agile, but Takeshi was only half a year old after all, so he was not quite fast as fast as to challenge Academy student.
Fortunately, Obito was not a genius. So, Takeshi could barely catch up. The door of the ninja Academy was about to close. Obito quickly squeezed in and rushed to the classroom.
Takeshi jumped up the wall leisurely, tracking Obito's steps gracefully. 'Lightness and agility were probably the only advantages of transmigrating into a cat.' Takeshi thought to himself.
After rushing as fast as he could, Obito stood by the door of the classroom. He saw a group of students sitting upright and listening to the lecture, and he immediately understood that he would face the tragic fate of standing at the door like a security guard again. But... He still atleast had to try to explain:
"Sorry Sensei, I- I was blocked by a black cat, so I was late."
Black cat blocked the road? Instantly, the classroom erupted in laughter. The teacher on the stage, Shiranui Sensei, fell silent. How big a black cat would it take to block the way of someone as large as you, aren't you an academy student, especially on verge of graduating... He didn't know what to say for a moment. This was the most bizarre and outrageous lie Obito had ever told since he went to Academy.
"I- I didn't lie!" Obito's face turned red. The next second. A cat appeared and jumped onto his shoulder through the window sill.
Looking at the class full of students, Takeshi licked his paws and then meowed fiercely. Certainly. Takeshi actually wanted to make a "roar" sound, but his throat was not strong enough, and he could only make this soft sound.
"Sensei, look, it's this cat!" Obito was overjoyed, beliving he would absolved of his sins.
"Hahahaha, I can't believe this!"
"Obito is so stupid, that cat isn't even a year old, right?"
"He's really an idiot. How can he be considered a ninja even if he can't get around it? It's such an embarrassment to Uchiha."
The whole room burst into laughter, and those who laughed and were angry were naturally the Uchiha clansmen. The half-year-old cat actually stopped an Uchiha clan member.
If this were spread around, all Uchiha would be made a laughing stock. Obito blushed and didn't know what to say. The black cat is really blocking the way... Shiranui Sensei sighed and said:
"Okay, don't laugh, everyone. Obito is just a little bit kinder... Go back to your seat and listen carefully. Let the cat go outside first."
"Yes."
"Thank you, Sensei." Obito suddenly became happy again. He thought he was going to have to stand and listen, but he didn't expect to be able to sit down - this was the first time that he was not punished for being late.
Takeshi was very satisfied. Although he didn't complete his intended prank just now, he still gained more than 70 points based on his previous "Blockcat" deed, and now he had more than 250 points on hand. The "Metamorphosis Pill" progress bar suddenly reached a quarter. The Obito as a points gaining tool was indeed quite useful!
He was lying outside the door, quietly listening and observing Shiranui Sensei's lecture. Shiranui Sensei was talking about the fine circulation and precise control of chakra.
Takeshi felt that the course was very useful to him. After all, he would become a ninja cat sooner or later. This knowledge would help his understanding and usage of chakra in future.
Hoomans and cats were different biologically, but chakra at it's core is same. He listened for a long time and felt that he had gained a lot, and even tried to circulate it - unfortunately, cat's biology is far too different from Hoomans, and the methods told in lecture wont be helping me in circulating chakra.
For now I can only focus on earning points.
