Noah unceremoniously threw Happiness to the ground. Of course, he had calculated precisely so as not to hurt her. Then he withdrew the soft, lifelike cold metal. Happiness could already see clearly that it was a part of his body.
"I won't run around! Don't follow me!" Happiness jumped up, looked around, and ran towards a pile of seemingly abandoned cement pipes. Just as she took half a step, a steel bar wrapped around her waist from behind, almost taking her life.
"What ever you want to kill or not, let me go to the bathroom first!" Happiness glared at Noah.
"Bathroom?" Noah looked puzzled, "This pronunciation sounds familiar..."
"People have urgent needs, big brother!" Happiness squeezed her legs tightly and spoke slowly, "Since we're both speaking Chinese, Mr. Robot, could you let me go and relieve myself first? Can I run away with you here? Oh, I'm about to burst!"
Although Noah lacked common sense, he wasn't dumb. From Happiness's facial expression, he could tell that she urgently needed to do something of life-or-death importance. So Noah generously released a thin steel bar tightly wrapped around her wrist and said, "You can go."
Happiness sprinted towards the cement pipes. Strangely enough, although her wrists were restrained, she didn't feel pulled back at all. The steel bar seemed to infinitely extend.
Squatting and lifting her skirt, she cautiously watched Noah through the gaps in the cement pipe while comfortably relieving herself. Happiness slowly walked back to Noah, pretending to be innocent, but in fact, she was desperately examining the surroundings. Judging from the flying speed of this robot, they were already far, far away from Alexander and the others. The sound of the waves was continuous, and compared to the lakeside, the temperature had dropped. However, the cliff was flat and barren, with not a single blade of grass, which was very suspicious. What was the purpose of him capturing her?
"I'm Happiness and you?" Happiness saw the machine man standing still without taking any further action or continuing to fly, so she put on a sweet smile, stood one step away from him, and tried to strike up a conversation.
"Noah."
"Noah... does it mean Noah's Ark?"
"Moses said so."
"Who is Moses? Is he your leader?"
"..."
Happiness's cute offensive was unstoppable, but it hit a reef with Noah for the first time. This was truly a memorable moment!
"So, Noah, how long are we going to stand here? Where are you taking me when you captured me?" After hesitating for a moment, Happiness gathered her courage and asked in a relaxed tone, "Did you not kill those male beasts?"
"It will take about ten more minutes. We're going to the base, and I didn't kill them." Noah honestly said, "Three of the beast tribes were injured, but I didn't kill them."
"What color were the injured beast tribes? Were they light gold, or black and white?" Since Noah was cooperating like this and didn't show any impatience, Happiness took advantage of the situation and asked for more information.
"Their fur color was ordinary, yellow with black stripes, just like the pictures Moses collected." Noah said.
Happiness's extremely anxious heart finally settled down. The three canine tribes she cared about were fine, which was great! However, she found that this guy who kidnapped her was quite naturally foolish. He would say whatever she asked. If it were in modern times, he would probably be a stupid fool who would fall for buying a green onion.
"Noah, could you let me go? I want to go home." After two minutes, Happiness negotiated with the machine man.
"No, I can't." Noah said decisively. Then he turned around and walked out of the dense forest bordering the cliff with about ten men who all had outstanding appearances but looked different. Happiness turned around and saw that two of the men, like Noah, had turned their arms into a huge iron cage, inside of which was the water-blue-eyed white tiger! The tiger lazily opened its eyes, glanced at Happiness, closed them again, and put its large round head weakly on its paws.
"Noah, you were being tracked by this tiger clan. A few of us managed to capture it together, and we can bring it back to extract live cells." One of the men waved his hand and continued, as all ten of them focused their gaze on Happiness.
Happiness felt a little creepy. This feeling of being surrounded by beast clans was completely different. The gaze of these men was not as clear as Noah's, making her feel cold from the bottom of her heart.
"Is she a human female or an evolved beast clan?" one man asked.
"A female corpse thawed from the glacier would quickly decompose when exposed to air. Maya is the only female from which we extracted intact brain activation cells. I think she is a humanoid beast clan," another man said.
"Let's take her back for research. She can be used as an experimental material. Even if she is a humanoid beast clan, with our current bodies, we can never..."
"Isaac, why do you always reminisce about these things? Our mission does not include this," another man interrupted.
Happiness's first reaction was to run to the white tiger. As long as she could touch his warm fur, it would ease her mental tension. But the white tiger was not safe at the moment, so she had to hide behind Noah, hoping that this natural fool could protect her because she was so cute.
Obviously, the naturally foolish Noah didn't think Happiness was cute. He took a step aside and exposed Happiness again. He lifted her skirt with a steel rod, and the cold, soft strip slid down Happiness's belly button. Happiness shuddered and couldn't figure out what he was going to do, so she tightly squeezed her thighs. Her pitiful strength couldn't match Noah's, and the two thin strips easily spread her thighs apart, took off her panties, and lifted her lower body, exposing her privacy place.
"Based on personal observation, she should be an evolved beast clan. But it's strange that she can speak ancient Chinese. She has female reproductive characteristics, body temperature, and heartbeat. She shouldn't have come out of a glacier," Noah's emotionless voice sounded.
"You're wrong." Happiness struggled and defended herself, "I'm not an evolved beast clan, I'm human! I'm not a beast clan! I can speak Chinese because it's my mother tongue. I'm from City C in Z country, not from a glacier!"
The purification species were all stunned. They had memories of once being true humans, so of course, they were not as ignorant as Noah. But as they looked at Happiness's bun, they all felt a nostalgic feeling as if it was a world away... After hearing Happiness's cry, a man named Isaac seemed surprised. He walked up and rescued Happiness from under the steel rod and said softly, "You're from City C? I'm also from City C."
"Isaac, we haven't tested the blood yet. Be careful, she might be playing tricks as a beast clan," someone reminded.
"What's to be afraid of? There are so many of us. Even if she is a beast clan, can she really do anything to us?" Isaac didn't even turn his head. His appearance was different from Noah's. Noah leaned more towards wildness and had an aggressive beauty, while Isaac was softer and more elegant. When he smiled, it made others feel as if they were bathed in a spring breeze. After all, their creator, Moses, was an old man who pursued physical perfection.
"I... My name is Happiness, and what I said is all true." Happiness couldn't care less about how to escape from their clutches in the future. She had seen on TV how deep the hatred between the ancient species and the beast clans was. Naturally, she had to distance herself first and try to avoid abuse. "Are you also from City C? I live in the old town area near the C Hundred Supermarket."
"I remember that place. There's a famous ice fruit shop there. My sister always liked to eat shaved ice from there. We are indeed fellow townsmen." Isaac nodded and showed a long-lost nostalgic expression on his face. "You can call me Isaac. I've already given up my old name."
"I... Isaac." Happiness climbed along the pole and echoed, "I like to eat it too, but it's too expensive, hehe..."
"Happiness, don't be too nervous. As long as you are human after the examination, we won't do anything to you." Isaac said ambiguously, touching Happiness's head. She saw Isaac's fingers gleaming sharply, and if he just lightly scratched, her skull would definitely crack open. She remembered that whenever the beasts touched her, they would always make sure there were no sharp objects on their bodies and that their nails were trimmed. Happiness suddenly felt a heartache, her eyes becoming a little sour, but she managed to hold back her tears, although these people all spoke Chinese and she had even met a fellow villager, her sense of crisis did not diminish in the slightest.
"Maya's signal is back, the aircraft is coming soon," Noah said.
Everyone stood in position and looked up at the sky. They didn't mind letting Happiness or the tiger clan know the location of the base, anyway, that tiger clan was doomed, and controlling Happiness was easy.
Happiness followed them and looked up at the sky. The clouds were hazy, and there was no aircraft in sight. She squinted her eyes and suddenly saw a small black dot falling from the edge of the sky. It didn't have the buzzing sound of Eugene's aircraft. The streamlined, huge oval-shaped aircraft silently descended from the sky and hovered outside the cliff. Happiness's mouth opened wide, she wasn't mistaken! This was a UFO!
"Surprised?" Isaac lifted Happiness up and explained with a smile, "Moses is an amazing person. He designed the blueprints. Don't misunderstand, we are not aliens."
Zombies... How could they possess technology far beyond that of the beast clan?! Happiness's cold sweat broke out. Humans, as long as they have brains, can indeed reclaim the top position of the food chain. It's not just wishful thinking.
The entrance of the flying saucer opened, and a ladder stretched out. Bern remained motionless in the cage and only dropped something as small as a grain of rice hidden in his neck hair when he was being sent onto the flying saucer, without being detected by any purification species.
In Isaac's arms, Happiness could see the cage of the white tiger. Of course, she didn't notice Bern's actions, but those watery blue eyes seemed to flicker and wink at her. Happiness looked carefully, but the white tiger's eyes remained tightly closed. It was just her imagination after all.
