My heart sank with disappointment at the revelation.

Why would Patrick do something like that? Was he forced? Is he trying to take revenge? Numerous questions clouded my mind.

I hurried away to the guest pavilion, leaving Nana alone.

"My handkerchief!" She called out.

"I'll return it to you later, I promise!" I yelled and hurried away.

As I ran into the gate of the guest pavilion, I saw Aurora combing Zyra's hair outside. Our eyes met, and she looked away angrily.

It seemed like she was truly mad at me for talking to another girl.

Swinging the door open widely, I rushed into His Lordship's chambers.

"My Lord, you requested to see me."

"No, I didn't," he said briefly, removing his eyes from his phone.

"Oooh… maybe I was mistaken," I smiled softly.

Aurora is such a jealous person. I Can't believe she lied just to take me away from Nana. So possessive, I mused inwardly.
