Chapter 45 - Shibuya Incident 1

A few days later, Suguru approached Hiroshi. "Hiroshi, about the hostage situation we will be dealing with in the future, is there something we can do about them? How about evacuating Shibuya?" Suguru asked. Hiroshi shook his head. "If we do that, it will startle the snake. Kenjaku might change location and cause even more widespread destruction in another area," Hiroshi explained.

"So they are a necessary casualty?" Suguru asked.

"Necessary, yes. But we can still save them if done right, and only a few will die as a result," Hiroshi said.

Suguru thought for a moment and nodded. "I trust you, Hiroshi," Suguru said.

"You should always do," Hiroshi smirked.

Kyoto Jujutsu High.

In the classroom, Hiroshi smirked at Kokichi, who was standing behind the door, his gaze flickering back to Miwa occasionally, who was sitting by the window.

Hiroshi entered first. "Yo, everyone! Good morning!"

"Good morning, Sensei!" the Kyoto students stood up and bowed.

"This morning, a surprise is awaiting everyone. Your classmate decided to come out of his shell," Hiroshi announced.

Questioning faces filled the classroom.

"Come inside," Hiroshi gestured to Kokichi.

"Hello, everyone. We have been together for almost two years, but I believe this is the first time you've seen my face entirely," Kokichi said.

"And who are you?" Momo asked.

"I am him," Mechamaru, who was sitting beside her, said.

"Mechamaru is me, and I am him," Kokichi clarified, beginning to prove that Mechamaru is his puppet.

This revelation took the Kyoto students by surprise.

"So, let me get this straight. You were born with a heavenly restriction, and because of this, you aren't able to move your body and were forced to use puppets? And just recently, you were cured by Hiroshi-sensei?" Mai asked.

"More or less, that's what happened," Kokichi confirmed.

"That's amazing, Sensei!" Noritoshi Kamo said, nodding in approval.

"Glad to have you, Kokichi-san," Miwa said.

"Hmm, thank you, Miwa," Kokichi replied, just before any ambiguous scene happened. Hiroshi cut it off. "Let's begin the class!"

October 31st, 7:00 PM: A 400-meter radius Curtain was cast, centered at the Tokyo Department Store, Tokyo Branch.

Outside the Barriers, the Supernatural Bureau of Investigation had already isolated a 10-kilometer radius around the Curtains, with armed personnel marching inwards toward the Curtain.

The Curtain trapped civilians, but windows and Jujutsu Sorcerers could come and go as they pleased. Due to the specialized nature of the Curtain, there was no communication or reception.

"Bring Senju Hiroshi," Akari Nitta conveyed the message to the Zenin Team.

"That's quite easy; the Senju Clan is rather well known," Naobito remarked.

"Yet they were told to say it," Nitta replied.

"Can't we break the Curtain?" Naobito asked.

"It's rather tough; Special Grade Sorcerer Suguru Geto tried to destroy it forcefully; however, it did not budge," she replied.

"So what's the objective?" Maki asked.

"Search and destroy all the Curse Users guarding the Curtains in order to take it down," Akari Nitta passed down the order.

"On whose orders?" Naobito inquired.

"Gojo Takumi, Jujutsu Commander," Akari Nitta replied.

"Hmm," Naobito grunted.

The Zenin Team comprised Maki and Mai with Nobara Kugisaki and Naobito Zenin.

In another area...

Team Nanami comprised Kento Nanami, Takuma Ino, Megumi Fushiguro, Junpei Yoshino, and Haibara Yu.

"Let's get a move on," Nanami said.

Team Kusakabe comprised Miwa, Kokichi, Panda, and Momo Nishimiya.

Team Mei Mei comprised Yuji Itadori, Mei Mei, Ui Ui, Aoi Todo, Noritoshi Kamo, and Inumaki.

8:30pm Senju Hiroshi Arrives.

Hiroshi arrived near the barrier and entered. Directly in front of him was a mass of people being guided by the SBI. Upon seeing the SBI, he realized he knew them: Nanako, Mimiko, Larue, Suda, Negi, and Miguel.

"Ha! Uncle Senju!" Mimiko ran over and greeted Hiroshi.

"Mimiko, Nanako, how are you?" Hiroshi greeted.

"We are fine," Mimiko answered.

"Just guiding the sheep to safety," Nanako replied.

"I never expected you guys to work in the SBI," Hiroshi addressed Suguru's family.

"The paycheck is good," Negi Toshihisha said.

"Can't help it; Suguru is handsome. I'd follow him anyway," Suda Manami said.

"I am with Manami on this one," Larue said.

Hiroshi then turned to Miguel. "Geto scouted me overseas and asked me to work over here. I would also like an endorsement to further my hometown's Sorcerer Society."

Hiroshi threw him a card. "Call that number. Consider your hometown's future brighter," Hiroshi said.

With Hiroshi's presence, Jujutsu High was ready.

Hiroshi entered Basement 1, followed by SBI Personnel. He used a megaphone, "Attention, everyone. We apologize for the inconvenience, but there has been a Curse Outbreak in Shibuya. For everyone's safety, please follow the SBI personnel outside. Thank you."

"Curse outbreak?"

"So, he must be a Sorcerer."

"Come on, move it. I just want to go home."

These were the thoughts of the non-sorcerers as they followed the uniformed personnel.

Hiroshi scanned the area. "The Curtain trapping civilians above ground is somewhere around here."

Observing the non-sorcerers below on the remaining floors, he jumped into a hole in the ground and landed directly on the Fukutoshin Line Platform.

As Hiroshi landed, Jogo blocked his path. "There you are. I will avenge Mahito and Hanami."

Hiroshi made eye contact with Choso and his brothers as they nodded. Choso and Eso attacked Hiroshi directly and left.

Jogo then attacked Hiroshi. "Aren't you sick of getting your ass beaten?" Hiroshi asked.

Meanwhile, in another part of Shibuya...

Yuta walked past the civilians, and as he did, they began transforming into Transfigured humans and started attacking the non-sorcerers.

Idle Transfiguration. "Yuta Okkotsu, your Cursed technique is so much more," Kenjaku muttered. Within seconds, the entire station had been transfigured.

"Jogo won't last long," Yuta muttered as he neared the combat. He saw Yuji, who had just exorcised the Locust Curse. Before Yuji could react, Yuta knocked him out and slung him over his shoulder.

Yuta then ripped apart Yuji's shirt, revealing the seal Hiroshi had placed. "I was right; Senju Hiroshi was preventing Sukuna from manifesting," Kenjaku muttered. "Release," he commanded, undoing the Eight Trigram Seal.

Instantly, a mouth appeared on Yuji's cheek.

"Go ahead, Sorcerer. I won't interfere with your plan," Sukuna said.

"The Merger," Yuta said.

The short conversation ended there, as Kenjaku now knew that Sukuna would not hinder his plan.

Back to the fight, Hiroshi was pummeling Jogo into the ground.

"Damn it, Yuta, it's been 20 minutes already. What the hell are you waiting for?" Jogo cursed Yuta as he looked at Hiroshi, who had a smile on his face while he pummeled him.

"What is that man doing?"

"He's punching something?"

The bystanders asked.

However, as they conversed, a train arrived.

"Nice, the train's here," were the last thoughts of the bystanders before they were attacked by the Transfigured Humans.

Screams echoed throughout the station as many tried to run, only to find that the entrances and exits were sealed.

The last to arrive was Yuta's clone. "Finally, you're here, Yuta!" Jogo said, blood dripping from his mouth.

"Piercing Blood," Yuta attacked, aiming for the center of Hiroshi's forehead.

However, Hiroshi lifted Jogo and used him as a shield. "AGH!" Jogo exclaimed before being thrown like a rag doll towards Yuta.

"So, where's the real body?" Hiroshi asked as he was swarmed by Transfigured Humans.

"Shinboku no Jumon: Deep Forest Emergence," Hiroshi incanted. The station was destroyed as massive trees and branches began rising into the air.

Yuta and Jogo were caught among the branches as numerous Transfigured Humans were sucked dry of cursed energy.

"Not willing to talk, are we?" Hiroshi said to Yuta and Jogo.

As Jujutsu High dealt with the Shibuya Incident, the Jujutsu Higher-ups met up one last time at the Takayama Clan headquarters in Tokyo.

"Everyone ready?" Takayama Jiro asked.

"The barriers have been placed. Time to declare war!" Fujibayashi Takeshi declared.

However, one of them noticed the sudden silence outside.

"It shouldn't be this quiet. We're preparing for war; there should be sounds of movement and voices," Katsuragi Hisao pointed out.

The Jujutsu Higher-ups stepped outside and were shocked by the sight before them. Bodies of their sorcerers lay strewn across the ground, on the rooftops, everywhere, with blood pooling around them.

One man sat atop a pile of corpses. "Who are YOU?" Morikawa Kenji shouted.

The man stood up and walked into the light.

"Toji Fushiguro, the Senju's hunting dog," Takayama Jiro cursed.

"Hunting dog? I much prefer the executioner," Toji said.

Before the Higher-ups could react, Toji beheaded the five of them within the span of a second. He used his inventory curse to store their bodies.

"Report," Toji radioed.

"Takayama Clan wiped out."

"Katsuragi Clan wiped out."

"Fujibayashi Clan wiped out."

"Morikawa Clan wiped out."

"Shimizu Clan wiped out."

"Mission accomplished, Commander," came the radio replies.

"Good work. Clean up, then debriefing at the palace," Toji instructed.

"YES!" came the disciplined replies.

Shibuya

From the air, Suguru Geto surveyed the surroundings, dispatching many of his cursed spirits to eliminate the transfigured humans pouring out from the train stations. As he flew, he soon spotted a massive forest rising from one of the stations.

Suguru saw numerous transfigured humans hanging from the branches. "That station is surely cleansed but damaged greatly," Suguru exclaimed. "He's a rich man anyway."

The fight continued as the real Yuta Okkotsu arrived, observing Hiroshi interrogating his clone and the now-sealed Jogo. Before stepping in, Yuta realized Hiroshi would notice him if he stepped on the plants. Thus, he did something unexpected.

"Hey! Senju Hiroshi!" Yuta shouted as he threw the Prison Realm at Hiroshi.

Hiroshi caught it, scoffing, "This isn't some Pokémon shit, dumbass." However, the moment he caught it, the Prison Realm opened, and he was face to face with an ominous eye, seeing his own reflection.

"Good night, Senju Hiroshi. I'll be seeing you in the New World," Yuta said, closing the Prison Realm. It turned colorless as it sealed Hiroshi inside.

"Finally, that bastard was too strong," Jogo said, relieved as Yuta helped him break free.

"Now Senju Hiroshi has been sealed," Yuta announced.

However, a voice sent shivers down their spines. "Hoh, since when were you under the impression that I was sealed?"

Yuta and Jogo turned their heads, only to find the very man they had just sealed standing before them, smirking confidently.

"That's impossible! I checked repeatedly to make sure that you weren't a clone!" Yuta exclaimed.

Hiroshi stood there, his presence an overwhelming force in the dense forest he had summoned. Kenjaku and Jogo knew they were surrounded by Hiroshi's cursed energy, an ever-present threat poised to strike at any moment. One false move, and an attack would arrive faster than they could react.

"Let's make this more fun. I'll give you five seconds to run," Hiroshi smirked, his voice dripping with confidence.

"Arrogant bastard," Kenjaku muttered, his usual composure shaken. For the first time, he began to doubt himself. Standing in front of the strongest sorcerer of today was no easy feat. Hiroshi's cursed energy radiated like an oppressive wave, but Jogo and Kenjaku managed to withstand it, still able to think, breathe, and move. If this were any other curse or curse user, they would have suffocated under the pressure. Despite having lived for a thousand years, Kenjaku realized that plans could become futile when faced with such overwhelming power.

The last time he had felt this way was when he had stood before Ryomen Sukuna in the Heian Era, and now, it was Senju Hiroshi.

"Five," Hiroshi began counting, his voice calm yet menacing.

Jogo and Kenjaku exchanged a glance, understanding the gravity of their situation. They had to act fast.

"Four," Hiroshi continued, his smirk unwavering.

Jogo's flames flickered with intensity as he prepared himself for a desperate move. Kenjaku's mind raced, searching for any possible escape or counterattack.

"Three."

They both tensed, ready to spring into action.

"Two."

Hiroshi's voice cut through the silence, calm yet menacing.

"One," Hiroshi's smirk widened, his eyes glinting with anticipation. Instantly, Kenjaku's mouth bore the Snake and Fangs Tattoo, "Don't move!" Kenjaku used the Inumaki Clan's Cursed Speech, while Jogo fired his Ember Insects in a machine gun-like manner.

Hiroshi stepped back right before saying "one" and emerged in front of a clone using Domain Amplification. Thus, when both sorcerer and curse attacked, the one that took the brunt of the attack was the clone under Domain Amplification.

However, it was still hit by the Curse Speech. But when Hiroshi looked again, Yuta Okkotsu had run, leaving Jogo behind. "Oi, Yuta! You bastard!" Just one second, Jogo took his eyes away from Hiroshi, just one second, and he was immediately sealed in a tree.

"I'll save you for Suguru," Hiroshi tapped the tree that had consumed Jogo.

Hiroshi smirked; Kenjaku was running. "Sensei, Yuta Okkotsu has been sighted on Basement Floor 5; he's running towards the surface," Mechamaru reported.

As Yujaku ran, he encountered Mechamaru's puppets surveying the area. He demolished the puppets almost immediately, yet he was still found.

Meanwhile, the clone Yuta left, which was carrying the unconscious Yuji, opened up a scroll filled with Twelve Fingers.

At this point in time, Yuji Itadori had consumed 3 fingers.

As Yuta fed the fingers to Yuji, a brown rabbit arrived. Yuta directly obliterated the rabbit.

Megumi, who was in the nearby area, suddenly felt Raiju disappear. "Nanami-sensei, I am approaching the station entrance; please clear the area. I found Yuta Okkotsu," Megumi radioed.

"Roger that; we will clear the area. Reinforcements will arrive to encircle," Nanami said over the radio.

"No need; I can handle it. Have them rescue the trapped civilians," Megumi said, confident in his abilities.

"That is uncalled for, Fushiguro," Nanami said.

"It's fine; amongst the Grade 1's, I am the nearest to the Big 3," Megumi said as he walked inside.

The moment he entered, he found himself face to face with Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses. Dread washed over Fushiguro Megumi as he beheld the sinister grin on Sukuna's face, an omen of the impending doom.

"We have yet to finish our bout, Fushiguro Megumi," Sukuna's voice resonated with ominous power as he stretched his limbs, each movement exuding a malevolent aura.

Fushiguro Megumi felt a chill run down his spine as he realized the gravity of the situation.
