Chapter 25 - Large but Weak

"Master let us deal with them" Joseph requested, three of them were well prepared to take on the large scales of dragons. Confident enough to win against the dragons.

"No," Leon said, not allowing them to fight and attack the dragons. "I will handle them while you four leave and find Elvin. If you find him make a proposal for joining us if he refuses"

"Fight him until I don't reach to you even if you die your not allowed to leave or else you will die from my hands"

His commands were superior to them, saying if one of them abandoned the mission the death is the penalty. When he said that each heart felt fear, something never experienced before.

"Old master, your cruel man, how can you say that so easily? Do you not value our lives?" Thomas asked.

Replying back to scared Thomas, Leon first gave him a murderous stare and said. "if you don't value your life then abandon my command"

"Choose what you want Thomas"

Giving Thomas two choices whether to die or go on facing the dragon ruler.

It was obvious what he would choose. "You crazy madman, alright I will go with them but I'm telling you if you didn't came to save me my ghost will haunt you everyday"

"Alright now get going. It's not a good time to continue the chit chat"

Departing from Leon and heading to a different direction, the four of them began their task to find Elvin. Clearly in such a massive area it would take tons of hours to find Elvin unless…

Giving the dragons a good look, it felt suspicious, a very odd feeling from his surroundings.

Not a sign of threat he could find except for the dragons who were approaching. The dragons land on the ground giving a good shake to it.

Breathing out smoke from one of the dragon noses who was in front, maybe the leader of the group. He was large with red scales looking devine.

"If I look carefully I can't find a good one. All of you are a bunch of weaklings. Has he been raising lizards instead of mighty dragons?" purely mocking the dragons and Elvin.

The dragons were well aware of the human language, understanding every cent of Leon's words.

Dragons aren't tolerating race when it comes to pride or their strength. When you disrespect them it means you want to book a ticket to heaven or hell for free.

The dragon who leads the group, wide open his mouth. Signs of anger in his eyes. Inside of the dragon mouth glow, something he was about to breathe out.

"fire? So you want to start the fight with this" Leon said. Saying further things in his mind.

It's not gonna be easy to deal with his breath, his level is still different from the others.

[Be careful this one is strong] the system alerted

"You don't have to tell me, I already can see that with my own eyes"

[...]

[Ungrateful]

The dragon charged his breath at Leon, the amount of fire coming out was huge, nethertheless Leon stayed calm and waited for the fire to hit him. It was a face on challenge for him.

The fire hit on the target, along with Leon the whole area around him burned, snow to melt down into water.

"For real, you break my expectations, dragon. The level I was feeling from you wasn't even close to my expectations"

"Just like I said, you all are just some weaklings nothing more than that"

Hearing the voice, the dragon understood his breath might have affected the ground and everything but Leon.

Closing his mouth after stopping his breath. The dragons were stunned when they saw Leon in a state similar to a dragon.

Holding on to his dragon slayer, wings spread wide and eyes like that of a dragon's. He was smiling at them unharmed.

"What?! Why do I feel similar feelings like that of my kind from you? Who are you?" The dragon questioned witnessing the strange change in Leon.

Pointing his sword at them, he said. "It's not what's important, focus more on the fight foolish dragons"

The dragons were furious, they no longer could bear the insult. All of them charged at Leon.

Before they could reach any closer to Leon, he dashed up in the sky with the help of his wings; his speed was insane.

Not stopping but flying high, crossing the clouds and stopping above them. With ease he could see sunlight falling upon him. It was a warm sensation.

He was not alone who was capable of flying this high, the dragons were to not be left behind as they pierce through clouds and rose to the level of height Leon was floating at.

Surrounded by the dragons from all sides, Leon didn't panic but enjoyed the little trap of dragons.

"So, you all can breath well at this height. This is fantastic"

One of them roared at Leon, a command he gave to his fellow dragons. All the dragons had their breath charged at once they wanted to blast it at Leon.

Not faced by such trouble, floating at the centre, he kept changing his iris to left and right, seeing each and every dragon until they burst out their breaths.

Together, they all blasted their breaths. In the middle Leon got hit from the side, there was no escape for him.

From all sides, the attack caused an explosion, seeing how destructive the explosion was. They were well assured that they had taken their enemy out.

No chance of survival was possible, that's what they had thought, "You're too slow, at least show me something that you're better at," his mocking continued.

Leon materialises behind one of the dragons, clenching on to his sword tightly. Leon struck the back of the dragon.

A massive cut formed on the body of the dragon caused blood to come out. The dragon in pain screamed.

Before the other dragons could react to it, they were ambushed by several other clones of Leon. Who swung their swords and made huge cuts on their bodies were made. All the dragons were injured together.

The match against Leon was much more difficult then they had anticipated.
