Alliong burst into laughter behind him and Rin decided to leave quickly before really beating up this idiot. As he left, he saw people in front of the big library, all well-dressed, talking in groups to Ebina and Million.

Ryu stopped and looked at Rin with suspicion, "Rin has 1001 faults, but lying isn't one of them."
He burst into laughter with his hearty voice, "Ahahahaha! Well done! The other rat must be feeling bad that someone beat his record!"
Rin didn't understand, but acted as if he hadn't noticed. He didn't want to ask questions and get beaten up for nothing.
Ryu, content, continued walking, inquiring about every detail of the ceremony and arrived at a moment Rin dreaded.
"And your inheritance, what did you get and choose?" he asked.
Rin did his best to stay natural, "Nothing special."
