The girl, who was drinking water after pouring it into a cup, closed the refrigerator as she went to the sink, she then responded while placing the cup there.

"I ate it in my room."

Upon hearing the answer and looking at the sink, he saw that there was indeed a plate and a coffee cup that weren't there before, so muttering a hmm, he spoke.

"Hmm, so, are you going with me again today or are you going with a friend?"

He asked as he pointed to the door with his thumb.

The girl replied as she walked over to her father sitting at the table.

"I'll go with you."

Arriving at her father, she gave the man a light hug, saying.

"Bye dad, see you later."

Feeling a little awkward about the unexpected hug, he responded while patting her shoulder.

"Alright, see you later, have a good class."

Moving away from him when ending the hug, she went to the door, passing next to Micael in silence, once there, she opened it and went through, then closed it.

Creak—

Looking at this with a raised eyebrow, Micael looked at the closed door, then looked away to his father who was looking at him the same way.

The man in his vision then shrugged his shoulders, implying that he didn't know what was going on, Micael then waved at him, as if saying he would see what the problem was before saying goodbye.

"Bye dad."

He said goodbye, turning and walking to the door.

"Bye son."

With the man's farewell sounding behind him, Micael went through the door and closed it, turning his head towards the street, he saw Mari already standing on the other side of the gate waiting for him.

Walking over to her, he waved after closing the gate and starting to walk while saying

"Let's go."

Walking silently down the sidewalk, one hand in his pocket and the other holding his bag over his shoulder, he glanced sideways at Mari who was walking beside him, seeing how out of focus the girl seemed.

Intending to get a sense of what was going on, then looking back ahead, he asked her.

"What's the matter?"

The girl, upon hearing the question, came out of her reverie, blinking her eyes and then looking at Micael while asking.

"What?"

Micael then continued.

"What happened? You seem a little out of it today."

The girl, hearing him, looked back to the front with a confused expression appearing on her face as she said.

"Really? But I'm acting as usual, right?"

"As always? You gave our father a hug when saying goodbye, something you only do if asked, never taking the initiative yourself."

He replied, looking at her sideways as he continued to speak.

"Besides, you said yourself that you didn't really like this kind of physical display of affection, so yes, you taking the initiative to hug him is strange."

Upon hearing what he said, Mari remained silent for a moment, then shrugged her shoulders as she responded.

"Well, I just felt like hugging him, there's nothing wrong with that."

"Yes, there is nothing wrong with that, the point is that you still seem out of it, so what happened?"

He asked once again, this time looking directly at her as he turned his face away.

Rolling her eyes, Mari answered him.

"I already told you, nothing happened."

Looking at her in silence for a moment after hearing her answer, Micael raised an eyebrow as he asked.

"Are you sure?"

Exhaling weakly through her nose, she turned her head to look at him and smiled calmly as she responded.

"Yes, MIcael, it's okay, you don't need to worry."

"Hmm..."

Was the answer he gave, seeing the girl's calm smile and relaxed demeanor, then nodding he replied.

"Okay, if you say so, then that's fine, but remember, I'm your brother and I'm here to help you with whatever you need if you have any problems, especially if it's something you can't tell our parents."

He said as he patted her shoulder encouragingly.

Hearing his words, Mari resisted the urge to roll her eyes as she thought internally.

'That's a bit ironic coming from you, besides...'

"Siblings, hmm..."

She murmured in a low, barely audible tone.

"What?"

Micael asked, he heard her say something but he couldn't understand it.

Regaining her smile as she looked at him, she replied

"I said, I understand."

Micael just nodded his head in understanding without saying anything else, returning to look straight ahead and remaining silent.

The girl did the same, looking straight ahead and keeping silent, without trying to talk anymore.

So then, the two headed towards the school, a calm silence accompanying them during this time.

...

At Kuoh academy, it was time for meal break, with the bell ringing just now.

Walking calmly among the other students, Micael walked at a moderate pace with his lunch box in hand.

Arriving at the cafeteria, he looked around for a moment, observing the other students eating, then looking away to his usual place of seating.

And there, sitting and already eating was Saji, however, the boy ate as if he hadn't seen anything for days, devouring the food as if he were a Saiyan.

Raising an eyebrow at that, Micael asked as he approached.

"Why are you eating like that?"

Hearing Michael's voice, Saji lifted her head from her plate looking at him, speaking with his mouth full of food.

"Yo Micael, what's up?"

Then he returned to eating, moving the chopsticks at high speed.

Sitting down, Micael placed the lunch box on the table, he then spoke.

"I'm fine, so why are you eating like that?"

Saji replied between chews.

"Nothing, I'm just really hungry."

Opening the lunch box and taking out a bottle along with a Tupperware, Micael spoke back.

"I've already noticed that, it just feels like you haven't eaten anything since yesterday."

MIcael spoke while biting into a sandwich.

Saji nodded as he responded.

"I trained a lot yesterday, I'm replenishing my energy."

Setting down the bottle after taking a sip, Micael looked at him with a raised eyebrow as he asked.

"Training? Since when have you been training?"

Saji stopped when he heard this question, then, realizing he made a mistake, he quickly chewed the food he had in his mouth, swallowing it in one go, then, raising his head, he spoke to Micael calmly.

"Okay, now that you mention it, there's something I want to talk to you about, can we meet up after school?"

"That's fine, will I come to your house or will you go to mine?"

Stroking his chin thoughtfully with his chopstick hand, Saji replied.

"Hmm, actually, we should go to your personal gym, it's better there."

Nodding as he bit into his sandwich, Micael replied simply.

"Okay."

Seeing Micael's confirmation, Saji also nodded, returning to eating and saying in a simple tone.

"Cool."

The two will then begin to eat in silence, with Saji thinking that it would bring an unpleasant surprise to Micael, but that it would be fun for himself.

And with Micael already having an idea of what was going on in Saji's head, thinking about how funny the scene of him using a reverse Uno on the poor unsuspecting boy would be.

The two then remained eating in silence until the end of the break, separating and saying goodbye, intending to see each other later, with each one having a plan in mind.

...

Walking across the tiled floor surrounded by familiar grass, Micael found himself once again walking towards the old school building.

With the silent Koneko by his side, he took his own steps in silence as he pondered something.

Now obviously classes are over, and before coming here with Koneko, he went to Mari to check on the girl, finding her acting normally.

She seemed to have regained her focus, no longer looking strange, but Micael had the distinct impression that she was planning something, especially from the way she looked at Koneko when he appeared with her.

It wasn't anything specific, she didn't make a strange expression or listen differently, it was her eyes, during a single moment when the girl saw Koneko next to him, he felt that the feeling of her gaze had changed, but how It was very quick, almost instantaneous, he wasn't sure.

Either way, based on what he knows about her, based on all his experience, she's definitely planning something, he just doesn't know what, but eventually he will, he just has to wait.

Leaving aside Mari's strangeness, he was also thinking about the behavior of the girl next to him, he imagined that after that fight the two would become closer, perhaps as friends, but if the girl's distant behavior was any indication, that wouldn't be the case.

Seeing the girl's expressionless face, Micael decided to test the waters.

"So Koneko, how are you?"

Upon hearing his words, the girl gave him a sideways glance before looking away, responding in a neutral tone.

"I'm fine."

"Mm, good to know."

Receiving this emotionless response and realizing that a more friendly approach would be futile, he decided to be direct.

"So, I wanted to ask you something, yesterday, after our sparring, I had this impression that we had become closer, almost as if we were friends, or did I misunderstand?"

He asked calmly as he kept pace across the tiles.

The girl, on the other hand, snorted as she responded.

"Humph, I won't be friends with a pervert."

Stopping walking when he heard those words, Micael took a moment to process before walking again, catching up to the girl and stopping her by touching her on the shoulder.

"Wait a minute, if you're talking about what happened at the end of sparring, I already apologized for that and you know it was an accident, I told you, I acted without thinking, it was instinctive for me."

The girl just looked at him blankly listening to his words, then when he finished, she just snorted again, walking back.

"Humph."

Feeling somewhat speechless for the girl, Micael walked beside her continuing to speak.

"Alright, you have the right to be angry, it's understandable, even if it was an accident and I apologized, but you also have to remember that we will work together, having any conflict between us is not good for our cooperation."

When his speech ended, the girl stopped walking, apparently agreeing with him, then, turning around, began to face him, her golden eyes in intense scrutiny.

Despite being stared at intensely by the expressionless-faced girl, Micael calmly maintained his gaze in response, unaffected.

The two remained in this staring contest for a moment, looking at each other in silence, until the girl said something.

"...Did you like it?"

"What?"

Micael asked without understanding, as she had spoken almost in a whisper.

Koneko narrowed her eyes when she heard him, then spoke again, her voice coming out neutral but still a little weak.

"I said...did you like it?"

Finally understanding what she said, Micael's two eyebrows faintly raised in surprise, not expecting this question, so, lightly shrugging his shoulders, he answered sincerely.

"Well, yes."

Finishing his words, he could see the girl's pupils almost turn into slits like a cat's, a blush appearing on her face as an intense aura emerged from the girl, a sensation of deathly cold leaving her body.

Seeing the girl's apparent murderous will, Micael raised his hands in a placating gesture as he spoke calmly.

"Oi, oi, you were the one who asked, I was just honest."

His gesture and words, however, did nothing to appease the girl, while her gaze only became more intense.

Seeing this, Micael decided to continue speaking, even though he knew it could make the situation worse.

"Like I said, you have every right to be angry, okay? But try to look at it from my side too, like I said, it was an accident, I didn't do it because I wanted to, and I don't feel proud or happy about it."

He spoke calmly, one hand over his chest as he continued.

"But you also have to see my side, just because I'm not happy about it doesn't necessarily mean I don't like that kind of intimate contact with a girl."

As he finished what he said, he felt the girl's murderous aura gain intensity along with her blush, he could see that she was also clenching her jaw.

Smiling bitterly, he spoke.

"Calm down, let me finish."

Seeing that the girl did nothing, he continued.

"You asked me if I liked it and I, as a healthy, straight man, would of course like it, but like I said, try to see it from my side, and if for example there was a boy you liked or were attracted to, hug you or something by accident, you wouldn't be averse to it, right?"

"You could be embarrassed and everything, but you wouldn't be against it, right?"

The girl just looked at him silently at the end of his sentence, but the intensity of her gaze and aura diminished, seeming like she had understood his point of view.

"Oh, and it's not that I like you or anything, it was just an example, I just want to make it clear that like any average guy, I'm not averse to intimate contact with a girl."

Micael explained himself in conclusion, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender.

The girl continued to stare at him in silence, but it was much less intense than before with the blush on her face almost completely disappearing, until she responded in a low tone.

"I know."
