"Would you look at that, he's terrified of us." Aieria snickered, flapping her wings.
"No, that's not all of it. He seems more ticked than anything." Flairiana suggested tilting her head slightly to the side, making sure to keep an eye on the city lord.
"Hmm, I suppose you're right… So what now? We've killed practically everyone in the city, well, everyone that hasn't been spared by mother's mercy." Fulgiana said, crouching down as if getting ready to pounce at a moment's notice.
Acialia glared daggers at the city lord, rage and anger behind her eyes. She was closest to Eternia and was also the oldest. She was the closest to leaving home to build her own nest elsewhere in the world. A rare thing, but given how far along the evolutionary track she was… It was bound to happen sooner than the others. But now, it was basically a guarantee and her sisters were going to do the same as well. Though the thing that fueled her fury the most now was, the loss of all her little sisters have for the 5 that survived along with her.
"Father, let's kill these overgrown chickens and get it over with! Don't we have an ace up our sleeves for this type of situation?" The City Lord's Son spoke, mistakenly unbothered by the situation. And saying something he never should have said in front of the enemy.
"Well, well, well… So you're father and son, respectively a similar relationship that we have with our mother. Parent and Child." Acialia's eyes, seeming flashed with bloodlust like no other.
The City Lord and his son suddenly fell to their knees as a result of the sheer magnitude of pressure such bloodlust gave off. Their breaths became difficult as they were very nearly hugging the ground. The stench of blood, other fluids and excrement mixed together, filled their nostrils. The stench of their actions…
"I'll butt in for this. For the first punishment you'll face City Lord… You'll have to watch as your son dies. This time though, to really make it as impactful, I'm going to burn him slowly. Torturing him as he dies. This is the price you pay for killing my children in cold blood. Cheerful and adorable cuties, And you ripped them away from life!" Eternia's voice echoed throughout the city, paired with a fire encompassing the whole of Ridgeline City. Nowhere was spared her wrath.
"AHH! FATHER SAVE ME!" The city lord's son screamed in tortured agony.
The City Lord's head turned, as if he was compelled by an outside force. The sight he saw made him close his eyes… I can't close my eyes! Why!?
"Oh, no, you think I'm going to just let you look away or close your eyes? Perish the thought!" Eternia's echoing voice roared with fury.
The city lord's son was floating in the air… Suspended there by Eternia's power. And a flame terribly hot began to consume his body from the extremities, slowly and painfully.
"I've made this fire as hot as it can be to ensure he feels the pain of every single fiber of his being burning to cinders and eventually disintegrating. I assure you it's quite painful. Isn't it a beautiful thing? To cause such pain and destruction?" Eternia's voice continued with the flames, bellowing throughout the city and even a bit beyond its walls.
"NO! It's not beautiful! That's my son!" The City Lord grief stricken cried out looking like a mess.
"Interesting, so when it is directed to you, it isn't good. But when you direct such suffering unto others… All of a sudden it's completely fine? Ridiculous!" Eternia's voice flared in a rage.
"Now, now. You should calm those flames of yours." The Butler said slowly walking up cracking his knuckles. "It's not good for one's health to get so upset." He added.
"You… Dare… Interfere!" Eternia grumbled.
"Oh? Interfere? Never, I'm the cause of this glorious sight. His Majesty sent me here with the orders of testing that weapon. But it was my genitor that gave me the order to cause as much death and destruction as I could. So I had them test the weapon out on you. Figure if it would work against you, it shouldn't have too much trouble working against a real god." The Butler sneered in a wide angled vile smile. "And look at what you've given me! Such an excellent scene! The emotions are palatable and pleasant." He added licking his lips.
"You're next!" Eternia stated as the flames the city over connected the earth to the sky in a solid block of fire. Sparing only those she wanted to spare.
"Oh? What can you do in your current state? I'm afraid that your daughters will all be killed in short order before you're able to move freely, isn't that right?" The Butler chuckled manically. "No answer? Well, time to begin. They're only legendary monsters, nothing to be afraid of for someone like me." He said his eye flashing just before his body became a blur, dashing head long into battle.
"Scatter!" Acialia called out, subsequently taking a truly heavy punch to the base of her neck. The butler's fist had managed to do non-ignorable damage.
"Heh, this is only the beginning…" He let out a soft chuckle as he continued into a flurry of close combat attacks.
"Fernia, we're not at full strength right now. You might have a better chance at dealing with this Butler looking vampire. I just wish we knew what his rank was." Aieria communicated through telepathy.
"He is a Baron ranked Vampire. Stupid bastard thinks I can't deal with him… My daughters, listen closely. I'm going to empower all of you with what you can handle. Use it to kill him while proving we aren't helpless." Eternia said through telepathy.
"YES!"
The next punch that the Butler landed, did slightly less damage. As Acialia began healing, recovering to her former full strength and then a push beyond it. Putting her firmly at a level comparable to the butler's previously demonstrated strength.
"Hmm, It seems like this will actually be a bit tougher than originally planned. A shame all of my other vampires were killed already… Oh well, I'll just have to try a bit harder." The butler said, holding his hand up, indicating a small amount with his finger and thumb.
