Chapter 23 - Amorith

"Of course!" Leo responded boldly before asking, "What, is there a problem?"

Cassia shook her head without responding; instead, she approached Ninth Uncle and stated, "Ninth Uncle, bring a low grade iron grade long sword over." I'm also not very confident. I would want to test that.

She then turned to face Leo and stated, "I'm going to utilize low-grade iron equipment to purchase your Wild Explosion scroll. There is no problem, correct? Whether or not it succeeds, you will have that low-grade iron weapon.

"How can that be okay?" Leo quickly denied it. "Previously, I spoke with a senior and asked to test a scroll. Miss Cassia is willing to help by providing the weapon. I'm already very grateful."

A low-quality iron weapon costs at least two thousand taels of gold. For Leo, that was a large sum of money.

"It is merely a low-grade iron weapon. It is not very pricey. I say, Ninth Uncle, simply take a middle-grade iron weapon. "You can put it on my tab." Freya replied, taking on everything, and her jade-like palm tenderly touched her entire breast.

Leo was really stunned by what Freya said. A medium grade weapon costs a lot more than a low grade iron grade weapon, even though it is only one level better. A middle-level iron-level weapon that was a little better cost at least 10,000 taels of gold.

He knew the Sterling family had a lot of money, but he didn't think Freya would be able to make such a big move so quickly. The money would be thrown away if she told them to buy something that cost 10,000 taels of gold.

When Freya saw that Leo was about to say no, she glared at him with her almond-shaped eyes and said, "This is my gift to you. If you say no, I will not let Cassia help you to appraise."

When Leo heard this, the words that were just about to come out of his mouth were quickly sucked back down, and he could only smile sadly. What kind of sense did it make to force someone to give you an expensive gift?

However, Freya's kindness deeply touched Leo. Right now, he does require a weapon. Common weaponry couldn't withstand his might. He needed to utilize a weapon designed particularly for martial artists.

It was merely that a medium grade iron grade weapon exceeded Leo's expectations. For someone like him who had only achieved body refining at the fourth level, a medium grade iron grade weapon was rather pricey, and most martial artists at his level would most likely be unable to handle one.

"Then I must thank Mis... Freya. I will absolutely return the favor later." Leo was about to address her Miss Freya, but then he remembered what she had said and modified his words. It was difficult to please a beautiful person.

Freya smiled at Leo's comments, but she didn't expect him to repay her.

The Ninth Uncle noticed Freya's actions and shook his head helplessly. How could Ninth Uncle fail to see through her thoughts? It was only that Ninth Uncle didn't comprehend how Leo could have so much luck. Cassia not only placed him in her eyes, but Freya elevated him much higher, capturing her heart and mind.

Ninth Uncle returned shortly after, bringing with him a very plain, long sword. Even with the sheath concealing it, Leo could sense the keen sword's purpose.

"This sword is named Amorith, which means love. Despite being a middle-grade iron weapon, it is equivalent to a high-grade iron weapon. According to rumors, a woman was polishing the blade for the person she loved. Initially, the resources used to build the Amorith sword were sufficient to develop a high grade iron grade weapon, but at the last minute, she couldn't suppress her lovesickness, resulting in a failure to refine the Amorith sword, transforming it into a middle grade iron grade weapon.

The selling price for this sword at the Golden Pavilion is 12,000 taels of gold." The Ninth Uncle discussed the history of the Amorith sword.

"Amorith, Amorith." Freya's cheeks turned slightly crimson as she heard the name of the blade, and her heart began to flutter. The first gift she gave was the term "love" Could it be that heaven had predetermined this?

After Ninth Uncle finished speaking, Alden's eyes widened. He wasn't interested in the narrative until he heard the final price: 12,000 taels of gold. 'Oh, my God... the sword's price alone exceeded the riches of the whole Throne family!'

This time, he actually saw the world. He instantly realized why Leo was so driven to learn martial arts. A tiny clan from Azure Peak Village, when combined, was worth less than a medium-grade iron sword. This was the distinction between a martial artist and the average individual.

Cassia had already picked up the Amorith sword and was about to use the enchantment scroll to enchant it. If it was successful, it would demonstrate that Leo's enchantment scrolls were error-free.

Cassia's expression was noble as she prepared the Amorith blade. She simultaneously opened the Wild Explosion scroll in her palm. The audience quieted down, cautiously observing Cassia's activities.

This sword weighed more than ten thousand taels of gold. If the enchantment fails, the weapon's price will definitely fall.

Cassia used some mental energy to activate the Wild Explosion scroll's rune. The whole Wild Explosion scroll quickly illuminated and flashed. A small Wild Explosion rune symbol flew out and settled on the Amorith sword blade. The rune briefly flashed before creating a firmly imprinted mark on the blade! The arrival of the imprint was the Wild Explosion Rune!

The enchantment was successful, bringing excitement to Leo's face.

Everyone else exhaled sighs of relief. It appeared that Leo's enchantment scrolls were problem-free. Alden was also thrilled. He hadn't expected Leo to master enchanting so quickly within just two days. With an identity as an enchanter, Leo's identity would soar upwards without a doubt.

However, the most excited person was actually Cassia!

As she witnessed the successful enchantment of Leo's scroll, a glint of excitement sparkled in her eyes. She suddenly raised her head and looked toward Leo as if she had discovered a treasure.

Truthfully, before this, she had assumed that Leo's enchantment scroll didn't have any problems with it, so she decided to test it in order to confirm her theory. Her assumption proved correct, as the enchantment was successful.

Cassia handed the Amorith sword to Leo, took a deep breath before looking him in the eyes, and said, "I have a few questions to ask Sir Leo. Would you be able to answer truthfully?"

"Miss Cassia was a big help; of course I'll say everything I know."

Receiving Leo's reply, Cassia became joyful, like a child receiving a toy. Only now did Leo recognize the fact that Cassia was actually still younger than him by half a year.

"Sir, Leo and I will do a bit of talking; however, the stakes are very large. Could you please leave for a few moments?" Cassia said to Alden:.

It was his first time talking face to face with a goddess. Alden stammered, his face completely flushed. He clumsily said, "No problem. Of course there's no problem!"

Cassia smiled and then said to Freya, "Freya, you and Ninth Uncle should wait here too. Sir Leo and I will go upstairs to talk for a bit. Sir Leo, please follow me."

"Just call me Leo. Don't say, sir, this or that. It feels strange." Leo smiled and said, He had a very good impression of Cassia, especially since she had given him her own personal notes.

The two quickly went upstairs. Cassia motioned for Leo to sit down and then said, "So tell me , were these enchantment scrolls really drawn by you?"

"Of course!" Leo responded boldly. He then brought out the remaining two inactivated Wild Explosion scrolls, saying, "There are two Wild Explosion scrolls here that I also drew yesterday."

Seeing Leo take out another two scrolls made her gasp in belief. Yesterday, Leo utilized that vial of savage wolf blood to successfully create three scrolls, and it was also his first time sketching, according to what he said. This displayed an incredible skill set and success rate!
