"Leo, you're absolutely brilliant." Cassia loudly exclaimed with undisguised praise, "Can you tell me who your teacher is?"
'Teacher?' Leo hesitated briefly before understanding. Cassia thought that in order for him to have achieved this level, he must have had a great tutor.
Speaking of which, Leo's teacher was quite powerful. Leo has yet to discover the origins of the unusual sword crystal.
Cassia believed Leo didn't want to tell her when he didn't respond for a while. She immediately apologized, smiling, and added, "I'm a little abrupt. Your teacher taught you this ancient enchantment technique, correct?"
'Ancient enchantment technique?'
Leo heard a new term. Could it be that the reason he was different from present enchanters and used only the main animal blood component was because he had the ancient enchantment technique?
He hadn't thought for too long before Leo replied to Cassia, "Aaa, yes, my enchantment technique was indeed taught to me by my teacher; however, what is this ancient enchantment technique?"
Cassia was the one who was puzzled this time. She responded to his query with a question: "What did your teacher say to you?"
Leo quietly muttered to himself, 'I wish it could talk to me, but it is unfortunate that it cannot.' He shakes his head.
"The old enchanting method has been lost for many years. Rumors indicate that modern enchantment methods are derived from old enchantment techniques. Even today, many enchanters are unaware of the old magic technique's existence. Even I had just discovered the old magic method by chance when I came upon an antique book in the enchanter guild." Cassia quietly explained the details of the ancient enchantment technique to Leo.
"The most notable aspect of the old enchanting technique is that it may utilize animal blood to directly draw on magic scrolls without the use of any special products. It is commonly understood that while utilizing the substance can help neutralize the potency and make drawing simpler, it also destroys the potency, preventing the full range of the strength from being pulled out."
"The old magic technique allows for direct drawing using animal blood. This method, the drawn enchantment scroll, will be significantly superior to anything drawn using current enchantment procedures."
Cassia grabbed up the newly successfully enchanted Amorith sword by Leo's side, waved it around a few times, and remarked, "I am convinced that your Wild Explosion rune may raise the explosive attack numerous times more than an average Wild Explosion rune! The same goes for the massive power rune. Using the ancient enchantment technique to draw the enormous strength rune can significantly increase the attack strength of your weapon when compared to a standard enormous power rune."
Hearing this, Leo's expression got further concentrated. He had no idea that the sword crystal had given him not just unusual items, but also old magic techniques. Doesn't this imply that the sword crystal came from an ancient era?
Cassia tossed a pot of cold water on Leo just as he was about to become thrilled, saying, "The flesh is innocent, but the treasure is guilty. If people know you have old enchanting powers, you can predict the outcome. As a result, I believed it was weird that your master had not informed you about this topic."
Leo grinned with a little embarrassment. Cassia seems to have concluded that the imaginary master was real. However, when Leo thought about it, this was also beneficial. His latest adjustments were very big. Not only did his strength increase dramatically, but he also learned how to enchant. If he had a "master," everything would make sense. Everything could be explained to the "master." Who knows? If other individuals had suspicions, there would be an extra layer of protection.
"The old man did not say anything like that to me. Reflecting on it, considering his strength, he had no reason to fear anyone coveting him. However, thank you, young Miss Cassia, for the reminder, otherwise, if an interested person learned of it, then I'm afraid it would've been slightly problematic." Leo began to set up the tiger skin.
"How powerful is your master in terms of cultivation level?" Cassia asked out of curiosity about your master's cultivation level.
"Eh… I am not clear. My lord stated that he was roaming the world and had unintentionally ended himself here; he is only staying for a brief time."
"Your master must be incredibly powerful to have traveled the world. You are truly fortunate." Cassia commented with a hint of jealousy. Although she possessed an outstanding birthright, but birthright and good fortune had nothing to do with one another. She was an enchanter herself, so she was particularly interested in the ancient enchantment method. Leo had encountered a 'master' who had taught him the ancient enchantment technique, and Cassia naturally felt envious.
"Leo, while you may write enchantment scrolls directly using animal blood, I would like to remind you that if you are selling them, you should use specific liquids. That way, even if your approach is somewhat different, others may not be able to see through it." Cassia made a suggestion.
"En, I'll take care. Then, in this case, I will have to ask you to help me keep it a secret. In the future, if you need me someplace, I will absolutely utilize all of my strength." Leo stated. Cassia had secretly told him these things, so she would not readily reveal them, and Leo felt a thankful confidence in her.
"Of course, however, I have a presumptuous request…" Cassia admitted with some discomfort, "I recently studied how to draw the Wild Explosion rune, but I never succeeded. Can you give me some advice?"
She was eager to learn the ancient enchantment technique, but she also knew that this sort of thing couldn't be randomly taught; not to mention, Leo also had a very powerful "master" in the area, so she only asked Leo for some advice.
Leo naturally agreed to Cassia's request. To him, this was a piece of cake. The ancient enchantment technique was his in the first place. He could choose whom to teach. Towards people like Cassia and Freya who had treated him with kindness, he would naturally agree to this matter.
Upon receiving Leo's promise, Cassia was overjoyed. In a sudden blur, Leo noticed Cassia's hands, initially empty, now holding a high-grade blank scroll and a bottle of enchantment material.
Cassia grinned as she extended her jade-like palm toward Leo's gaze, rattling a ring on her finger and saying, "This is a storage ring. The inside is empty. It was the gift my father gave me on my tenth birthday. It's quite convenient, isn't it?."
Leo exclaimed with amazement at the unexpected find. He had not expected to find such a miraculous artifact. He was not sure when he would be able to buy one like that. However, after careful consideration, it was clear that it would be expensive.
Preparing the blank scroll, Cassia was getting ready to draw the Wild Explosion rune. Before starting to draw, she turned to Leo and said, "Leo, watch me first. It will be enough to just watch me and point out what I didn't do right each time I fail."
Leo nodded. Cassia then took a long breath, adjusted her condition, extended a slender finger, and began drawing by pulling out some of the substance with tremendous force.
Even though Cassia stood in front of him, Leo's gaze shifted to the blank scroll.
Leo was trying hard not to look at her beautiful figure, focusing instead on the task at hand. He knew that Cassia needed his help in order to improve her rune drawing skills, and he was determined to provide constructive feedback. Despite the distraction of her presence, Leo remained focused on supporting Cassia in mastering the Wild Explosion Rune.
As he had been charged with a mission, Cassia had asked him not to gaze at her but to give her counsel.
