The next week, Sebas and Jylan received an invitation from a guild to make clothes for them. It arrived in the mail, to the small hotel room that they were sharing, and as soon as Jylan saw it, he put his arms in the air. Sebastian, who was curious as to what was causing this elated state of mood, peered over his shoulder in the same romantic pose as chapter 29, and read, "3,000 coins a month? That's pocket change, butler."
Jylan elbowed him.
"Hey! I was just telling the truth-" Sebastian protested, and Jylan said, "It's pocket change to you, but unless you have a better idea, this is just how things will go."
Slay, Jylan, go roast the life out of him.
Sebastian ran out of protests, so he sighed and said, finally, "When do we start?"
It turned out, they were supposed to start almost instantly.
And they weren't making clothes, it turned out. They were, instead, intricately dying rugs and carpets for the nobles that they once were. Within an hour, Jylan and Sebastian received multiple buckets of dyes, fabric, and paintbrushes.
"This is such a stupid idea, butler." Sebastian groaned, and Jylan grinned, picking up the first box of dye he saw and walking back to their hotel room.
"It doesn't matter. The whole world is dumb, so we might as well join them, My Prince." Jylan said to Sebastian, who sighed, grabbed a bucket of dye of his own, and followed Jylan.
