Sebastian was sitting right next to him, but his hair was covering his face. Then it occurred to Jylan that, because of the shackles, he likely hadn't been able to move it out of the way, so instead he moved his hands to brush aside the stray strands.
And then their eyes met.
And there was nothing to be said. Jylan said, awkwardly,
"How have you been, My Prince?" Sebastian blinked and tapped his throat. He couldn't speak, which made Jylan slightly curious about how he had let loose that waterfall of hogwash earlier, but he accepted it anyway. Sebastian soon rested his head on Jylan's shoulder and fell asleep.
The wind was still blowing, but it wasn't rainy anymore. It was instead, a bit misty, and there was gray fog outside the window. But the sun was shining, still, up there somewhere, like it always had been.
yep, the sun was still shining, even after everything. And so it would continue, drifting its yellow rays down to everyone. The sun was still there.
Jylan rested his head on Sebastian's shoulder, who was now fast asleep.
"The sun is still here…"
