Jylan led the prince into a door, where the wind was blowing, causing the curtains to billow and dance up and down, like some sort of nighttime ritual. When he opened the door, he was greeted with a familiar moonlit balcony.
This balcony had been either abandoned or forgotten, Jylan couldn't decide which. Weeds and ivy were creeping up the walls that connected it to the door and up the railways. The marble tile was cracked in some places, and missing altogether in some. In those spots, Jylan had diligently grown wildflowers and even a few vegetables.
The railway was cracking as well, but it had been helped up with multiple pieces of wood, and rope that had been tied around the wood and railways.
"Butler. Do you have a habit of taking things from royals?" The prince mused, and the butler muttered,
"I like taking their hearts too." Jylan muttered under his breath, but Sebastian didnt hear him. Which was good.
Sebastian sat down on one of the railings, and Jyan sat down right next to him. A certain piece of wood which was jutting out at an odd angle (Jylan reminded himself to fix it later) served as a table for the package, which Jyaln opened to reveal two slices of cake.
