Jylan nervously twiddled with his fingers. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the prince - and he had checked multiple times. No fever, visible redness, or even signs of discomfort. And yet, Jylan had found a glowing rune on the prince's wrist that had been flickering and illuminating ever since he had collapsed.
This wasn't good.
Not only was his paycheck in danger once again, but if anyone saw it, they might misunderstand it as a kidnapping. Then, not only his paycheck, but his head would certainly be in danger too.
Jylan looked at the prince. His eye bags were lighter than usual, and his face was quite serene, ignoring his furrowed eyebrows and quivering lips. Quite handsome, Jylan thought to himself, brushing a stray hair away from the prince's face.
"Please wake up soon."
