||Tenebaras||[In the farthest corners of the universe, there lies a vast and sprawling subspace that is shrouded in an eerie and unsettling darkness. This dark and foreboding forest is filled with an endless expanse of twisted, gnarled trees, and dense foliage, creating a maze-like labyrinth that is difficult to navigate. The creatures that inhabit this forest have been mutated by a strange and ominous combination of energies that corrupt the very essence of their being, causing their soul to shatter or wither away to nothingness. It is a place of overwhelming horror, where every step brings with it the risk of encountering one of the many terrifying creatures that lurk in the shadows.]
However, amidst the darkness, there is also a purer energy that exists, one that serves to enhance and strengthen both the soul and the body. This energy offers a glimmer of hope amidst the otherwise overwhelming horror of this subspace. The two energies - the corrupt and the pure - twist and warp the already broken creatures of the forest, turning them into horrid, dark husks of their former selves. It is a place where the line between life and death, hope and despair, is blurred, and where the very fabric of reality seems to be in a state of constant flux.]
Amidst the dense foliage and deep shadows of the forest, where the old beasts roamed and the air was thick with an eerie silence, a small human boy of about eight or nine years of age could be seen. His hair was unkempt, his clothes tattered and soiled, and his eyes held a wild and frenzied look. Despite the late hour and the darkness that surrounded him, he seemed to be engaged in a conversation with himself, his lips moving rapidly as he gesticulated with small, jerky movements. Clasped tightly in his arms was a little teddy bear, worn and frayed from years of use, but evidently cherished by its owner. The scene was one of haunting melancholy, a solitary figure lost in the depths of the forest, his only company the ancient beasts that prowled the woods around him.
"What is a werewolf eating a human called....."
"A Wolfer, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
"That wasn't funny dude...."
"You're not funny dude, you're the one talking to yourself stupid"
"Aren't you me??"
"Aren't YOU me??"
"No, I'm me...I think...."
"Were both me aren't we....."
"Probably....."
"So what do you call a tree house tha-"
"A tree hammock!!"
"Put your hand down and let me finish my sentence dude!"
"Sorry"
"Don't say sorry, say something back you bum!!"
"I just did stupid oh and I have good jokes too, unlike you, you bum!"
"Was that good?"
"Yeah that was pretty good"
"But don't ever say you have better jokes than me...."
"Oh and I'm not stupid you are!!"
"....."
"When will they leave me alone..." After a long and disturbing monologue, the young boy finally fell silent, his voice reduced to a barely audible whisper. He shuddered as he recalled the unspeakable horrors that had been inflicted upon him during his previous encounters, leaving him traumatized and scarred for life.
"Soon, soon I will get more teddy bears..."
"Heh, eh heh heh!!"
"I'm funny aren't I..."
"....." As he gazed up into the vast expanse of the night sky, a glimmer of melancholy flickered in his eyes. He yearned for someone genuine to converse with, someone who could understand him and his struggles. The weight of his past traumas felt heavy on his heart, and he wished that all the pain he had endured would serve a greater purpose.
As he reclined in his cozy hammock, he held onto a small, fluffy teddy bear that lay atop his stomach. Looking at the teddy bear, he spoke softly, "Hey, Winne-Pooh, do you think I'll ever find some other bro's out there?" The teddy bear didn't respond, but the man continued talking. "I mean, I know you're my main bro and all, Winne, but sometimes I wonder if there are other bro's out there who I can talk with"
As Winnie uttered those words, the young boy's body jolted with shock and disbelief. His eyes widened, and his heart raced as he nearly jumped out of his hammock, visibly nervous. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. "Winnie you can't say that!" he yelled out, his voice trembling with fear. He was worried about the consequences of using such a bad word and what it could mean for him and Winnie.
"Man I'm hungry right now"
"I might eat you, Winne"
"Woah Winne you WANT me to eat you?!?!"
"Ohhhh you just want me to eat in general"
"My fault dude"
"Hey, do you think 445 Giant and his cousins want to eat me too?"
"You think they would like a cupcake instead Winne?"
"I don't know Winnie, cupcakes aren't that good ice cream and cinnamon buns sound better to me"
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
The earth shook violently under the force of colossal footsteps, causing a thick cloud of dust and debris to erupt from the ground and scatter in all directions. A towering behemoth, completely black in color, stormed through the dense forest with reckless abandon. Its massive frame bore the marks of numerous deep scars, which intersected each other in a jagged and intricate network across its skin.
"Fuck fuck fuck!!, since when do they come this early??!"
The colossal and unnaturally agile monster rapidly advanced toward its intended location, emanating a sinister aura from its sole, massive eye. The blood-curdling expression within its gaze appeared to merge with the crimson shade that the blood-red moon cast upon everything that lay beneath it. The scene was both eerie and terrifying, with the behemoth's presence dominating and instilling fear in all who witnessed it.
Dentrivix's eyes widened in shock and terror as he saw them approaching. He couldn't believe it - they had never come this early before. His heart was racing so fast that he could feel it pounding in his chest. His throat felt dry and constricted, and he struggled to catch his breath as he screamed at them, "Why? Why this early? You guys never come this early!"
Spit flew out of his mouth as he spoke, and his body trembled with fear. He knew all too well what they were capable of, and the thought of what they had done to him the last four times was enough to make his stomach knot itself a thousand times over. He couldn't bear the horror of it all - it was well beyond anything his mind could comprehend.
The towering behemoth gazed down upon Dentrivix with a cold, unfeeling stare. His massive frame seemed to dwarf the smaller figure, casting a shadow over him that felt almost suffocating. Though his expression was one of indifference, there was a palpable sense of danger emanating from him, like a predator biding its time before striking. His blood lust ran deep, a primal urge to dominate and conquer that pulsed through his veins with every beat of his powerful heart. When he spoke, his voice was low and rumbling, like distant thunder. "That is far from any of your business," he growled, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
"Please, I need more time, I don't regenerate that fast!"
The towering giant glared down at the small figure before him and bellowed, "You dare to lie? Then you shall pay twice the tribute! Now get to work!" His eyes glinted with a bloodthirsty rage, betraying a willingness to tear the offender limb from limb without the slightest hint of remorse.
Without warning, the giant thrust out his massive hand, palm upturned. The gesture was clear - he expected his tribute to be placed there before the sun rose and illuminated the land. One could only imagine the dire consequences of failing to meet his demands.
Dentrivix, with a sudden burst of energy, leaped out of his hammock and landed on the massive fingers of the giant. He bent down and picked up a small blade lying at the edge of the giant's fingertips, clutching it tightly, and began his ascent toward the colossal creature's palm, which seemed to be more of a barren landscape than an actual appendage, the knot in his stomach growing, the fear he felt rising with every step forward.
Dentrivix attempted to conceal his emotions behind a facade of indifference, but the intense clenching of his fist and the hurried rhythm of his breath exposed the turmoil of his feelings. Despite his efforts to maintain composure, his body language betrayed his inner turmoil quite evidently.
As he made his way up the dark and ominous palm of the giant, his mind was consumed with thoughts of revenge. He couldn't help but feel an overwhelming rage towards the bastardly creatures that were constantly hunting for his flesh. He vowed that one day he would exact his revenge and slaughter them all. However, as he looked up at the giant's massive eye looming above him like a celestial body, all thoughts of rebellion dissipated. The pressure emanating from the giant eye was suffocating, and for a moment, he felt as if time had frozen and he was the only person in the entire universe.
'Why does it always hurt the same amount every time, aren't you supposed to grow immune to pain with time?!'
He had made it toward the center of the colossal palm and lied on the ground. He switched off his regeneration factor, his breathing became more laborious as he reached for the hilt of the sword. His hands were trembling with fear and anticipation as he held the blade, positioning it carefully above his collarbone.
Seeing that it was in the proper place he quickly brought it down and the blade pierced his skin with surgical precision exempting his muscles from the strenuous torture. The blade slowly moved, a thin line of red running across his collarbone until the start of his waist.
The blood seeped from his body in small red streams that dripped onto the ground before moving into one spot, coagulating some distance from the boy's body. Dentrivix sliced at the small strands of skin and fat that connected his skin to his muscles.
The boy continued on the self-dissection and soon removed his skin from his entire body including his head. He was now allowed to take a break at let out some of his feelings.....
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" An ear-shattering scream flew from his mouth drowning the world in his cries of anguish. Hot tears streamed from his eyes, searing his face as he held himself from clutching his face from the pain or even moving. His only solace was the thumping of his heart and the fact that screaming wasn't as terrible as crying.
The pain clouded his mind and screamed at him, begging him to activate his regeneration factor and be done with this torture but he refused, finding strength in the fact that doing so would cause him to dissect himself like some sort of lab experiment for the fourth time now.
Soon his screams came to an end and were replaced by choked hiccups accompanied by low sobbing. Dentrivix felt rage at those who forced him to turn himself into a live lab experiment conducted by himself, He hated himself for being so weak and cowardly to let them do so and he hated the world for making him so weak.
However, his feelings soon faded as his gaze found itself fixed on the giant moon-like orb that hovered above him like a celestial body. The blood lust that occasionally flashed through his eyes brought him a sense of terror that nearly eclipsed even the torturous pain running through him.
Soon the giant's voice boomed again.
"Your time is over now hand over your meat"
He stopped the urge to make snarky homosexuality-related comments that appeared in his mind and got back to work, slicing his muscles up and throwing them over before allowing his regeneration factor to work again although to a limited extent. Soon the large red orb hanging in the sky was only a couple of hours from leaving completely and nearly a hundred tons of muscle and bone lay on the dark palm, The fruit of his efforts was brain-numbing.
Dentrivix was elated that the giant would now leave him to his machinations, however, this did not occur and instead, the giant said something that deeply rekindled his hatred for giants and whatever bloodthirsty beasts that roamed the hellscape he lived in at night.
"You're contributions to the new generation have given them quite the regeneration abilities, however, we are in quite the predicament right now and as such we need your regeneration abilities now and to do so we need to.....EAT YOU WHOLE!!!"
The giant had been acting like a disciplined and indifferent scholar for far too long, it was tired of acting like such was elated it could show its bloodthirsty nature in full.
"....."
The silent landscape seemed to quiet down even further, tension filled the air as the world seemed to stop as if holding its breath in anticipation of what would occur next.
Dentrivix felt something spark up from somewhere deep within him, It was disgust accompanied by seething hatred, A lesser creature of such little might backed only by its grandeur dared to lay its beastly fangs on his flesh? it even went further to give his flesh to creatures even lower than itself and thought it would not only allow but permit it to devour him whole?? Blasphemy!!! There was no way he was going to allow such a thing to prevail any further.
The air was filled with the sound of boisterous laughter that seeped from the giant, filling the surrounding space. Dentrivix, already enraged, was further agitated by the sound, his emotions mingling within him. Despite this, he stood tall, his warm chocolate skin gleaming with the red hue cast from above. His jet-black hair hung in front of his face like a veil, before parting as if finally allowing the world to bask in all the boy's glory.
The boy's voice was barely audible as he spoke the words, "I refuse to die, not today, not this time..." His voice was shrouded in an eerie tone that carried a sense of threat and promised a world of pain and suffering. The malice in his now crimson eyes only served to intensify the ominous atmosphere that surrounded him.
"I see you're trying to challenge me. But do you really think you stand a chance against me? All you have is your unique ability to regenerate quickly. Is that really enough to defeat me?"
The young boy stood facing the towering giant, his body tense with an intense and palpable hatred that seemed to radiate from him. But suddenly, a thought struck him like a bolt of lightning, The hand!!
