Coral closed her eyes, trying to focus amidst the chaos. She held Aria, who was growing increasingly cold, as she felt a rush of blue energy coursing through her. Steeling her resolve, she prepared to jump.
With a deep breath, Coral leaped into the air, clutching Aria tightly. The two of them materialized on top of a high mountain, the sudden change in scenery causing Coral's eyes to widen in surprise. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked around, a relieved smile spreading across her face.
"I did it, Superbee!" Coral exclaimed, her voice wavering with a mix of emotions. She wiped the tears from her cheeks, the adrenaline of their daring escape still coursing through her.
Superbee's voice rang out, urgent and insistent. "Don't waste time, Coral. I know you can do it. Now, let's go save the others."
Coral nodded determinedly, her expression hardening with purpose. Without hesitation, she jumped back down, plunging into the raging waters below. She swam towards the car, her movements swift and confident.
Reaching the vehicle, Coral flung the door open and quickly pulled out Gabrial, then Jennie, Finn, and Mason, one by one. As she turned her attention to Alexander, who was still strapped in the driver's seat, she struggled to free him, her hands shaking with the effort.
"Superbee, I can't get him out!" Coral cried out, her voice laced with panic.
"Coral, try quickly before it's too late!" Superbee urged, the urgency in her voice palpable. "That's it, you've got it!"
After a few tense moments, Coral finally managed to unbuckle the seatbelt and pulled Alexander from the car. Despite her strength, the man's weight made the task incredibly difficult, and Coral felt exhaustion setting in.
Suddenly, Coral's eyes widened as she realized the car was being pulled towards the raging hurricane. She cried out in alarm, the force of the storm threatening to sweep them all away. Clutching Alexander, Coral tried to swim against the current, but the pull of the hurricane was relentless.
Coral's eyes widened as the relentless force of the hurricane-driven tsunami threatened to pull her and Alexander away. The rain poured down restlessly, the turbulent waters swirling around them.
Gritting her teeth, Coral's face flushed red with the strain of swimming against the current, her arms aching from the exertion. As a relatively young mermaid, her powers were still developing, and she knew she was pushing the limits of her strength.
But the thought of Sofia and James, Alexander's parents, kept her going. She couldn't bear the idea of them losing their son, so she pushed herself harder, determined not to let him be swept away.
Suddenly, Alexander's eyes flutter open slowly. Though he couldn't see clearly, he sensed Coral's struggle and wanted to help, but his weakened state caused him to lose consciousness once more.
The howling wind and the deafening roar of the helicopter overhead only added to the chaos. James and his rescue team scanned the area with their telescope, finally spotting the figures on the mountain.
"Boss, look over there!" one of the team members shouted, pointing to the distant beach house.
James peered through the telescope, his expression hardening. "Quickly, take the plane towards them. They seem to be unconscious." he commanded urgently.
The helicopter descended onto the mountain, and the rescue team sprang into action, rushing to the aid of the stricken group. However, as they gathered the others, James' face fell when he noticed that Coral and Alexander were missing from the group.
"Boss, where's Alexander?" one of the team members asked, voicing the unspoken concern.
James' hands clenched into fists as he scanned the area. "Treat them quickly and wake one of them. They must know where Coral and Alexander are." he ordered, his voice tense with worry.
The rescue team hurried into the helicopter, where the doctors had already begun treating the unconscious survivors. Although they had minimal injuries, the impact of the water had left them fainted and in need of immediate care.
Coral summoned the last of her strength, using her spiritual powers to guide her and Alexander to a small, high cave, sheltered from the raging winds and waves. Gently, she laid Alexander's head in her lap, letting out a heavy breath as she leaned against the cave wall.
Exhausted, Coral felt her tail begin to disappear, her mermaid form fading as her eyelashes fluttered. Just as she was about to lose consciousness, Coral found herself in a different place.
"Super bee, where am I?" she called out, her voice weak.
"Don't worry, this is your space." a voice replied from the distance.
Coral looked around, her vision still blurry from the ordeal. She seemed to be in a serene, otherworldly environment, far removed from the raging storm outside.
"My space? What do you mean?" Coral asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
