I open the door and see Adria and Ghost standing there.
Fuck, not now.
I rub the back of my neck, "what do you guys want?" I ask irritated.
Adria folds her arms and lifts a black eyebrow, she pushes past me letting herself in and Ghost follows.
"Where the fuck have you been? Did you forget we had a meeting this morning?" Adria snaps.
"Shit," I say, I completely forgot.
"Hugo is coming here in a few days and you're missing meetings and completely distracted lately, you better not fuck this up for us X," Adria says with an attitude.
It's too early for this shit.
"What's going on with you, man? You're slacking lately." Ghost says, fuck him.
I'm about to ream him out for talking to me like that when I notice a smile come across his face.
I follow his line of sight and so does Adria.
Fuck me, he's spotted Millie.
"The distraction. So you're not a prude after all, huh?" Ghost says and I could just knock his fucking teeth out right now for talking to my girl like that, but I'm caught off guard when Adria zooms past me darting for my bedroom, for Millie.
"Adria!" I yell but she ignores me.
I run after Adria as fast as I can, picking her up in my arms with her flailing limbs. "Adria! Fucking stop!" I scream at her.
A stunned Millie is standing in the hallway just watching the chaos unfold around her. Ghost is snickering from behind like the fucking prick that he is just loving this.
"Millie, get back in the room and stay there until I tell you otherwise," I demand.
She's in a shocked state of mind so she doesn't move.
"Now!" I demand more than my last statement and it snaps her out of the trance that she's in, she walks into the bedroom and closes the door behind her.
"Fuck you! You're going to pay for this!" Adria screams at Millie still in my arms kicking her legs fiercely.
"Adria, shut the fuck up!" I command.
"I'm putting you down now, if you move even an inch to that bedroom you will be the one paying for it," I say promptly.
I set her down and to my surprise, she doesn't go sprinting to the bedroom. Thank fuck. She runs around to face me with a face so pissed that it's actually red. "What the fuck?!" She yells in my face.
Here we go..
"You've been fucking her?! Since when?!" She demands an explanation but I don't owe her one.
"That's none of your business Adria, who I put my dick in, is none of your concern," I say hastily. I know she wants to slap me but she knows better than that, regardless of her crazy state of mind.
"I'm done with this bullshit, both of you out, now" I demand and point my finger to the front door.
"But X.." Adria says in a desperate tone.
"No, I don't want to hear it, out!" I say one last time.
"C'mon Adria..let's go." Ghost says from behind, smartest thing he's said all day.
I lift my eyebrows to her as a gesture of why she's still standing here, she grunts in frustration and intentionally slams her shoulder into me as she walks away.
"Watch it," I say to her in a tone that lets her know I'm not playing anymore.
They both leave but not before Adria slams the door behind her like a child.
"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck," I say to myself grabbing the strands of my hair by the roots.
They're not wrong, I have been slacking more than usual. I can't believe I forgot about this morning's meeting, I just slept so soundly next to Millie.
Millie..fuck..Millie.
I run to the bedroom door and open it seeing her sitting on the edge of the bed with her hands on her lap and her head down. I'm so furious right now with my own group. I promised Millie I would keep her safe and have no one bother her, and yet this morning I have failed her.
I walk over to her and kneel on the ground in front of her, taking both of her hands in mine. I kiss her knuckles and look into her eyes, "I'm so sorry, baby. I had no idea that they were going to be coming here."
"It's okay," she barely whispers.
"How can I make this right?" I ask her in desperation.
"It's okay X, I promised you last night I wasn't going to run, and I'm a woman of my word." She says just as I did the night before. My heart begins to race by what she just said, I inch forward and kiss her full lips.
"Thank you, baby," I say meaning the words.
She stands up leaving me in a kneeling position, takes off her black shirt from last night, and throws it directly at me, "I need to shower, wanna join?" She asks so seductively.
"Fuck yeah I do," I say practically running to follow behind her.
