Lilah , Sly , Leo and Rover were seated with two boxes in the sitting room chatting about the work Rover and Xavier had in Nigeria, " try to keep a close eye on him I don't want people eating my son up, plus he needs to look extra cause I promised him a red carpet birthday party,the least he can do is not disgrace me " Lilah said as she scroll through her phone reviewing Niya and Priya's(Zoan) birthday plans " your definitely going to give yourself a serious headache if you don't stop going through those extra problematic twin list " Mira commented as she descended the stairs with Tessy by her side, " I agree, just let them do exactly what they want to do invitation are already sent out so chill" Sly said and Leo rolled his eyes irritatedly, " well I don't have problem with them handling the party but it's not just for Xavier birthday but it's also a front for all representative of each creatures under the circle around the world, I believe what is happening isn't just a psycho playing with lives but a psycho with a target " Lilah said with a straight face, " what if the target is you....?" Rover finally spoke with his face buried in his phone , everyone turned to him with shocked expressions he wasn't one to butt in unless he it was a very serious issues, and judging from his expressionless face and his lack of concern no one really thought it was as serious as they are about to realize, " why would Lilah be a target when who ever is creating those creepy things obviously knows that they can't hurt her unless the person is just an idiotic fool" Sly bluntly said nonchalantly, for a moment everywhere was completely quite, everyone thought Sly actually made Rover silent until the blonde hair man dropped the phone and crossed his legs majestically as he rested his back comfortably before shifting his gaze to Sly ,then the atmosphere changed " that's exactly why you are nothing but a baffon , because only a dumb idiot would send an abomination directly to Lilah , I'm guessing what we saw was nothing but a message ,an announcement of the presence of a potential enemy it obviously wasn't sent to hurt her , because if it had she'd be a disgrace to all my training ..." Rover ended as he lifted one of his brow at Lilah who hastily shifted her gaze from Rover and coil in Sly's arms, " but why did it attack Simon, he and Lilah have never gotten along ?" Mira asked curiously " maybe because Simon's mom works for aunt Lilah " Tessy said " I don't think so he's mother doesn't really care about him " Lilah said casual and everyone gave her a disappointed look including Sly , Rover palmed his forehead in annoyance " who brought Simon home ?" Rover asked as he picked up his phone again thinking they were smart enough to figure it out " well Xavier and Zee " Tessy said cheerfully " so ?" Mira asked, Rover slowly dropped his phone as his eyes twitched , " Xavier was the target" Leo blunted out with a serious expression , just then Lilah's expression change she hastily got off Sly arms which surprised Sly greatly,Lilah was both angry and scared, her eyes were blazing red , Mira and Tessy turned their attention to Lilah " there she is" Rover said with an evil smirk on his face, Sly tried to hold her but she pushed his hands away as she got up , Mira also stood up but before she could say anything Xavier called out from behind " Mom " Lilah turned to him, and before she could say anything Xavier was in her arm to Sly's surprise Lilah's eye color turned back to normal as she wrapped her arms around Xavier who was holding her tightly, " tomorrow's my birthday why are you getting upset, I should be the one upset at you for shipping me to Nigeria a day before my birthday,it better be worth it" Xavier complain as he let Lilah silently squeeze him , Lilah was about to say something to Xavier when she suddenly sighted Simon, she finally freed Xavier, as she tried to fake a smile, " you brat ...." She jokingly said as she pulled his cheek Iightly " take Simon with you " "what....!!!!!!!???" Mira Tessy and Xavier exclaimed at the same time, Rover just silently chuckled and Leo gave Lilah a curious but deadly stare " yeah...I mean he's new to this vampire thing plus.... He irritates me he can't help with anything here so take him with you" Lilah explained suspiciously which baffled everyone except Rover " well we don't have any of his docs with us so..." " Baby you're using my airlines plus it's Nigeria I don't think you'll need any docs " Lilah cut Xavier just as he was trying to explain " but...." " No buts baby you'll get late so come on get out so I can start preparing" Lilah said as she pushed Xavier and Simon out, " Rover please keep Xavier and Simon close to you" Lilah said as Rover got up to leave, just then Zee came out running with his bags " wait for me..!!!" He yelled but Lilah stopped him half way " you watch Xavier closely and make sure Simon is always around him " Lilah whispered in Zee ear before pushing him out to, the moment the door was shut Lilah turned to meet curious eyes.
Lilah was seated besides Sly's with everyone's curious eyes still on her including Sly's, " why did you do that?" Leo asked in a harsh yet calm tone , " it's no one's business,I'll be in my office if anyone needs me" Lilah said as she got up to leave obviously avoiding Leo ,but Leo followed her " I need a reason Lilah cause you don't like Simon enough to risk exposure, so I need a valid reason" Leo said as he followed Lilah who super speed to her office, she was about to shut the door when Leo storms in "explanation now Lilah!!.." " what the fuck do you want me say..." " That you just sacrificed that kid's life because you don't like him.." Leo angrily said " you're one to talk, we both know the only reason why you have a problem with it is because you still like him " Lilah fired back " I never liked him for your very clear info , it's just fucked up to use him as bait or a freaking shield" Leo said as he watched Lilah slide her hands through her red silky hair " you can stop with the bullshit Leo if it was another person apart from that kid you wouldn't give a damn would you ?
