Chereads / Sold To The Triplet Alphas / Chapter 21 - 021. My True Mate

Chapter 21 - 021. My True Mate

Alpha Harlan bashed into his bathroom, his footsteps echoing off the tiled floor mindless of Elara, who was without any changes since she fainted.

Anger flowed through his veins like wildfire as he slammed the door shut behind him. The shower stood at the corner, he took a long look at it as though something helpful would come out of there. Without hesitation, he reached out and turned the knob high, a steady stream of water pouring from the faucet upon his head as he stood under it mindless of his cloth.

The rush of water drowned out the anger that was raging inside him. The cold spray hit his skin like a thousand tiny needles, but he welcomed the feeling. Closing his eyes tight, he relished the physical pain as it reflected the commotion grumbling within him.

He felt so angry about the Pack's behavior that he did not know how to pour the anger out. Transmitting his anger to his brothers didn't help at all that he had to leave the Terrace unless his wrath might destroy a lot.

A simple hand pull of his clothes tore down his shirt. The water pounded against his masculine skin, feeling so raged that he let out a crude roar of frustration.

His voice grunted like a raging beast.

How could they not give him regard? What had just gotten into them to have such boldness towards him? The scene replayed in his mind making him more outraged.

He punched the wall, feeling the pain. It hurt, but he didn't stop. He wanted to let out his anger. Tears mixed with the water, washing down his face.

He punched the wall. The sound of his knuckles connecting with the tile echoing off the walls. The pain shot through him like lightning, but he didn't care, He wanted to let out the anger that was threatening to consume him.

With a heavy sigh, he sank to his knees beneath the pounding spray, his breaths coming in ragged gasps as he struggled to regain control of his emotions.

The water washed away the tears that streamed down his face, mingling with the streaming water as it swirled down into the drain.

Slowly, he started to feel a bit better. The water washed away some of his anger like a cleaning tide. He took deep breaths, trying to calm down.

It has been a hundred years since his birthright was catered for by Alpha Zephyr. It has been a hundred years since he was searching for his Mate. Now that he found her, now that it was time he ascended the throne, his pack was sounding rebellious to his Kingship.

It pained him to the core.

He stood up and turned off the shower. The bathroom was quiet now. He stepped out onto the tiled floor, the water dripped on the floor as he walked to the closet, dried himself off, and put on new clothes.

Upon refreshing, his mind was clear and his spirit hardened like he was not frustrated or vulnerable, though, the anger was still there but with his current state of mind, he knew he could handle it.

He sat on the hummock chair, not believing that his actions in the bathroom did not have any effect on Elara.

"Sleeping beauty indeed." He snickered, remembering that scene about Vesper giving her the name was the first scene about her past brought to Harlan at his first contact with Elara.

Her memories were filled with pain yet funny! He snorted.

As he sat afar, he wasn't satisfied with watching Elara. He lay beside her on the bed, watching her as she slept peacefully. Her breathing was slow and steady, her face relaxed in slumber.

Alpha Harlan couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over him as he gazed at her.

After some time, he noticed a change in her conduct. Her breathing became deeper, more rhythmic and her body turned light pale.

Alpha Harlan blinked in surprise as he realized what was happening.

Elara's inner wolf surfaced.

He watched in awe as the wolf scrambled her white fur quietly, putting her head on her arms as she stretched them forward. Her eyes took a slow turn to Alpha Harlan. Unwavering, she blinked twice at him. An unknown feeling crossed Harlan's heart... causing it to rise sharply.

"What a sight to behold?" He was so stunned to see her mesmerizing beauty this close.

Her two colored eyes flicked at him like the scene he captured 2 years ago.

What surprised him even more was the way her wolf nuzzled against Elara with affection. It was as if they were two halves of the same whole. Yes! That was what they were. Inseparable and bound by a deep and raw connection.

Alpha Harlan felt a surge of excitement course through him as he opened his palm to her and the wolf calmly placed one of her forelegs on his hand.

Realizing Elara did not shapeshift was a rare ability to possess. That made him filled with a sense of wonder and awe.

He reached out tentatively, running his fingers through her fur. It was soft and warm to the touch, and he couldn't help but marvel at the sheer beauty of it.

He never thought he would have a moment with the wolf without Elara knowing.

As he lay there beside her, he felt a sense of peace settle over him. In that moment, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, as Alpha and Luna, man and wolf.

"She is my True Mate!"

Hours later, Elara opened her eyes. She still feels dizzy and weak but remembering the last scene before she passed out, she sat up on the bed.

She was alone in the room, feeling lost and confused. "What happened." She whispered then rubbed hands over her body. She was with clothes but she felt naked.

"Lyas!" She whispered, hoping that her wolf would reply since it was just them in the room, however, she felt her absence. The reason she was more weak and dizzying.

"Lyas!!" She called more with strength.

Recalling the gravity of having her wolf roaming around without her, Elara rushed to the door, flinging the door open, her body collided with a masculine frame that in turn made her feet slip backward.

"Gosh! You are planning to go for another 24 hours of sleep?" Alpha Vesper snarled at her, causing her eyes to roll like they would pluck out of their sockets.

Her body shook like an electric current. She dumbfoundedly stared at Alpha Vesper who unlike at the Party couldn't prevent her from falling, this time, Alpha Vesper's arm strongly held her right. An inch distance from her face, he snorted in a scornful tone.

"Are you planning to escape by yourself?"
