Chapter 10 - Chapter 010 - Fire

The Orc's footsteps as he ran seemed to create small earthquakes, despite his enormous stature, his agility seemed to ignore the laws of physics, making his body appear like a blur.

Kaesir and his group were ten meters away from colliding with the Orc. Until the Orc's movements suddenly changed.

When the Orc suddenly flexed his knees, accumulating propulsive force, he jumped. His body rose and crossed dozens of meters into the sky in his single push. His intention was to kill the small humans from a distance first.

Landing among the few barbarians who were still conscious. His landing caused a great tremor, kicking up dust and crushing the unlucky ones below his feet.

The Orc contracting the muscles of his powerful arms, swung his axe, tearing apart everything and everyone in his path.

"FREY!" Kaesir roared desperately.

Wrapping his legs in white aura, Kaesir had a great boost in his jump, leaping more than five meters away in a single step.

The Orc, noticing the presence of something moving quickly, slowly swung his ax towards Kaesir who was approaching at the speed of a rocket.

Clang

A loud sound of metal colliding and sparks exploded on the battlefield.

Kaesir's spear collided with the Orc's axe. The momentum created by the impact of their blades seemed to create wind pressure that became visible to the naked eye.

Still, face to face, Kaesir could not bear it for long. Being sent flying backwards like a comet, landing, being dragged away while kicking up a trail of dust.

The other three Novice Knights moved in sync, surrounding the Orc from all directions.

The Orc lowered his great axe, putting it back, accumulating his strength. Turning his feet, his ax began to spin around his body, becoming a true tornado, creating storms of wind, which pushed and cut all the humans around him.

Drake looked in disbelief at the huge Orc, who wore an expression of contempt, looking at the small beings that were forced into submission.

The Orc's gaze coldly swept over all the small beings around him, before landing on Drake.

Drake felt like he was being watched by a superior being. His gaze was causing a feeling of supernatural intimidation in Drake, sending a chill down his spine. Gritting his teeth, he kept his gaze directed at the Orc, which seemed to irritate him.

The Orc started walking towards Drake. His slow steps crushed the barbarians who were unconscious under his feet, turning them into meat paste.

With every step, it was as if a small mountain was approaching Drake.

When Drake finally entered the Orc's attack range, he raised his ax with one hand, preparing for a casual attack. His ax followed the trajectory of a side attack, intending to quickly crush this insect.

The blur caused by the ax seemed to be tearing apart space itself.

To Drake's eyes, the ax appeared to be the size of a small planet. Gritting his teeth, his eyes turned a strong crimson. Raising his hands, placing his sword so that it protected the entire length of his body, he gave a small push with his feet, allowing his body to become baseless, adrift.

The huge ax landed on the sword, which protected the entire line of her body, pushing her away without any resistance.

Clang

With a loud buzzing sound, cutting through the wind, Drake was sent flying like a comet dozens of meters, his body bouncing, touching the ground only for his body to return its momentum through the air.

When his momentum weakened, his body was dragged across the ground raising dust. He had been thrown more than thirty meters away.

A mess of blood spread all over Drake's body, mixing with the blood of the goblins he had killed. Drake slowly staggered to his feet, with small spasms he assessed the situation of his body.

He managed to lessen the impact of the attack, allowing him to be thrown far, the base of his sword was along the entire length of his torso. Causing some of his ribs to break.

Looking at the Orc, who was watching him with a surprised expression, Drake tried to use his brain to think of a way out.

Kaesir in the distance, had stood up, with a bestial cry, he advanced towards the Orc.

His translucent white aura enveloped his body. His spear blade danced like a serpent, making its way towards one of the Orc's legs.

The Orc was taken by surprise. Kaesir's attack was able to make a deep cut into one of the Orc's ankles, severing one of his tendons.

With a growl, the Orc looked at Kaesir with his eyes shining like fire. With the muscles in his arm contracting, his ax headed towards Kaesir.

Clang

Clang

Clang

Sparks erupted as their weapons connected.

With each exchange, Kaesir was pushed back a few steps. He was managing to hold him off with a slight disadvantage, while the three Novice Knights, who had just recovered themselves, attacked the Orc.

Because they were from the same group, the Three Novice Knights moved in sync, managing to cause small attacks on the Orc, their weapons continued in sync. Causing a considerable amount of blood to appear on the Orc's injured leg.

In the distance, Drake was running towards the fight. If they didn't kill this Orc now, there would be no possibility of him leaving this place alive.

His eyes glowed red, small streams of red energy flowed throughout his body. Every time his footsteps touched the ground, his body would appear a few meters away.

In less than five seconds he had reached the battle, before it reached its climax.

Kaesir was keeping the Orc busy, while the three Novice Knights were focused on destroying one of the Orc's legs.

Drake approached, the strong wind pressure caused by his movement caused his hair to blow in the wind. His eyes were focused on the leg that was still uninjured, his Achilles tendon more precisely.

Drake's body moved at a speed that appeared to have an afterimage right behind him, the red glow of his eyes seemed to create a trail of red light amidst the darkness.

In his last step, before he reached the distance of his target. His sword was placed in a position to cause greater damage, taking advantage of the speed of his attack.

Thump

With the sound muffled.

Drake's sword got stuck in the Orc's tendon, while Drake himself lost his balance, stumbling and being thrown far.

The Orc let out a roar, kneeling down, as one of his hands protected the injured tendon.

Taking advantage of the opening, Kaesir and the three Novice Knights attacked at the same time.

Kaesir's Spear was aimed at the Orc's neck as the Novice Knights attacked the Orc's legs. The Orc was being forced to defend itself, which was causing more damage to its body.

Drake standing up in the distance, smiled. If everything continued at this rate, they would soon be able to kill the Orc. After a while of observing the scene, Drake felt a slight discomfort that made the smile on his face slowly disappear, even as he saw the Orc's weakened state.

Looking around him, Drake looked at the mess that appeared around him. The corpses of goblins and barbarians littered the battlefield. The few who had survived were now groaning and agonizing in pain.

An expression of regret appeared on Drake's face. From the little time he spent with the barbarians, he enjoyed their company.

Looking into the distance, at the hills, Drake searched for the reason that was causing the discomfort. His vision ran across the entire horizon, as far as his eyes could see.

Until he saw something.

In the distance, he saw a hooded figure.

The figure had its two hands raised above its head.

Above his head, there was a light source rotating in circles, something that appeared to be a magical circle in a fiery red color.

The urgency inside Drake grew, he felt as if the scythe of death itself was connected to his neck. The danger level of this figure surpassed the Orc by multiple times.

Seeing the figure in the distance, the only word that came to Drake's mind was.

"RUN!"

The sky was full of stars on this dark night, there was a beautiful moon that illuminated the world with its silver light.

Above the battlefield, a fireball began to form. Rapidly growing, resembling a small sun. Creating a beautiful contradictory vision of the darkness that covered the night, composed of an artificial sun that seemed to want to burn everything around it.

The fireball that was high into the sky suddenly fell.

Heading exactly in the direction of the weakened Orc.
