On this grand tour of souls?
Ah! Things you must've seen!
Fresh roses and burning coals,
Smiles, frowns, laughter and tears,
Fading and blooming over the years,
Yet you've found enough reasons,
To outlast the changing of seasons.
Today you turn yet another page,
But I won't tell you to light candles,
You've done enough of it at your age.
Buy a candle for each of the hurdles,
And blessings you've had this year,
One for everyone who's been here,
For each hand that has held you up,
