'Feels more comfortable than usual'
As an expert when it comes to sleep, I know the hardness, space, softness and flexibility of my bed, and this was definitely not my bed.
'Have I been kidnapped or something?'
I reluctantly pulled my back away from my new, super comfy bed and sat up.
I looked around the room I was in and it was a more luxurious room than I thought.
As a reader of countless novels I already knew what was going on.
"Apparently I transmigrated."
...
...
...
"Well, let's get back to sleep."
As a professional sleeper, I could recognize a good bed when I felt it. And this bed is one of the best I've ever tried.
Firmness: 10/10
Softness: 8/10
Space: 10/10
For the moment this was the important thing, the rest can come after I wake up.
.
.
After a nice nap, I got out of bed and started to check my surroundings. The predominant color in the room was white, it had a bathroom and a kitchen apart from the bedroom, but nothing else.
'It's like a luxury apartment'
Checking the place a little more, I found a clock inside a desk drawer, when I touched its top a message appeared like a hologram.

That's what the message said, but there was a detail that already confirmed where I was.
Norva Academy
It's the academy of The hero's rise, a harem novel of modern fantasy, dungeons and pretty girls.
The protagonist is one of the weakest in the academy and gets bullied, but then gets a skill that allows him to quickly climb the rankings, defeats academy bullies and villains from evil organizations, meets several cute girls, falls in love with them, and eventually saves the world from demons.
A typical academy and harem story right? well yes and no.
The characters were likable and fleshed out, the MC wasn't as douchey and dense as the other protagonists in the genre, the world was built in a good way, and overall it was a fun story.
But now that I know I'm in for The hero's rise my question is.
"Who I am?"
Not philosophically but literally, come to think of it, I haven't seen my face since I woke up.
I walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.
"I look like I did in my previous life."
Long messy light yellow hair, light blue eyes with long eyelashes and a face that looked sleepy all the time.
Yes, my appearance was a little TOO feminine, I was much shorter than an average man, only 5'6" I think even less, a slim build and very pale skin.
I looked like a cute little girl that made you want to protect her when you looked at her,
"That's a relief."
The fact that my appearance did not change was good news, my body being small and very flexible allowed me to sneak into places to sleep without being bothered, if my body was muscular and I was 6'4" I would not be able to do it anymore.
Having cleared all my doubts, I lay down on the bed and began to think about how I would act from now on.
This is a world that is governed by the law of the strongest, if you are weak no one will listen to you'.
This is due to the numerous monsters, disputes against other races and the constant danger posed by demons.
It all started a thousand years ago, when demons arrived from another world, bringing with them a new energy known as mana that caused all life on the planet to mutate and the geography to change.
With the demons causing destruction all over the world and the new creatures that were born from the mutation of mana, it seemed that humans had no chance of survival.
But they would not give up so easily, their bodies also began to absorb mana and they learned to use it, things like throwing fire from their hands and smashing concrete with their bare hands became possible. This added to the arrival of other races such as elves, dwarves, mermaids, dryads and dragons gave the humans the possibility to face the demons.
After a bloody war that lasted 200 years, the humans with the help of the other races managed to suppress the demons but not exterminate them completely. Why you ask?
That is because they were isolated in their lands that were infested with demonic energy which is the source of power of the demons, after prolonged exposure to this energy the mana is corrupted and the person goes crazy or dies, life in that area was also much more hostile than in other places and virtually all plants were poisonous, that added that the demons were more powerful by the high concentration of demonic energy.
In short, if you stay too long you get poisoned, everything wants to kill you and your enemy is more powerful than normal, clearly it was not a good idea to enter their territory, so the races decided to strengthen themselves and wait for the demons to attack again to be able to exterminate them completely.
"That more or less is the story of this world."
A world of hardship where those who are weak are of no use in society and are treated like dirt.
Next to the clock I found a card with a picture of me with my statistics on it.

"Not bad at all."
With these stats I will be able to enter A class if I learn good skills and some fighting style.
Class A is the best class in Norva Academy where only the best can enter, but it's also where almost all the important characters gather.
"But it doesn't matter."
I just don't have to get too much into their business and I'll be fine, that's what the main character is for, and if I'm in that class no one is going to bother me.
But there's something much more important than that.....
Beds!
The better the rank, the better the deal, I already saw how the worst rooms were thanks to the protagonist, and those beds were described as sleeping on a stone, I definitely won't sleep in a bed like that!.
On the other hand, the beds in the A-class private rooms are sure to be equally or more comfortable than the one I'm using now, just thinking about it is making me drool.
"Lucky I know some sword arts that are perfect for me."
There's still a week left for the test, I can go get it and practice it a bit.
Let's go get those sword techniques!!!!!

"But let's get some sleep first"
A nap never killed anyone, and besides I have to be in optimal condition to be able to undertake the journey I have planned, if for that, not for anything else.
