Taking a step that didn't make much sound, I slowly walked forward a bit and peeked toward the direction where the sound was coming from.
There, I saw a deformed figure with skin similar to trees kneeling in front of a giant tree. Behind him, there was another one similar to it, standing while looking at the tree.
In that giant tree, there was a human body being slowly devoured by the tree. The deformed figure had a large club in its hand, one that was larger than the two beings I had defeated before.
A whimpering and strange sound came from its mouth. Suddenly, the deformed figure lifted up its wooden club and slammed it onto the human who was being devoured by the tree.
The human's body crushed, and blood spurted out like cherry that was being stomped on.
