As Akiel's whole body became engulfed in flames, the fire on his demonic side vanished instantly, but the flames on his human part burned even more fiercely. Using his demonic hand, he tried to extinguish the fire while continuously patting and struggling. After several stressful seconds, he finally managed to rid himself of the burning flames.
"Fuck, this hurts," he said in a voice filled with pain. His clothes were almost entirely burned away, and his human skin was badly singed with burn marks all over it.

At that moment, Akiel heard the giant footsteps approaching. Looking back, he saw the towering fire giants coming towards him, but fortunately, there was some distance between them, and the giants didn't seem to be in a hurry to capture Akiel.
