"Finally, you are alone," the voice spoke, sending chills of fear down Kalina's spine. Her eyes widened in terror, and her body tensed as she struggled against the grip, her heart pounding in her chest.
"Stay still, my white rose," the voice murmured, its tone a chilling blend of affection and menace. "You wouldn't want me to hurt your pretty little husband now, would you?" he asked, his breath hot and rancid against her ear.
