"What?" Dominique snapped at Nikolas when he kept giving him a weird look.
Nikolas opened his mouth to talk then shut it again before opening and shutting again. He looked like a gaping fish; it was quite comical.
"Nikolas," Dominique said his brother's name in warning, already running out of patience.
Nikolas gestured to the room around him, and Dominique rolled his eyes. Nikolas was shocked that Dominique had so much color now in his office hence his reaction.
"I can't believe you actually let her redecorate your office," Nikolas said, disbelief clear as day on his face.
His once dark couch now boasted colorful throw pillows, injecting bursts of vibrancy into the room. Dominique's desk, once a minimalist haven, now held not only his laptop and meticulously organized pencil case but also a framed picture of their engagement, capturing the tender moment of their kiss. It was a picture Kalina insisted on framing, much to her own embarrassment.
