"I am so sorry, sir," Lisa apologized breathlessly as she rushed into Dominique's office, trailing after Aiden, who had just barged in.
Niko quickly composed himself at the sight of Lisa, throwing her a wink when their eyes met, which elicited a blush from her.
"It's alright, you can go, Miss Anthony," Dominique dismissed Lisa without sparing her a glance, his attention fixed on the man who might hold the answers he sought.
"Don't just stand there," Dominique instructed Aiden as soon as Lisa exited the office, stealing a glance at Nikolas, who already wore a smug smile.
Aiden entered the office nervously, memories of his previous encounter with Dominique flooding back, where the domineering man had left him bloodied and bruised on the floor of a basement wine cellar.
"Take a seat, Aiden. Dom won't bite," Nikolas assured the fidgety man. Aiden complied but stood up immediately when Dominique spoke.
