"Why the hell can't I go to my flower shop?" Kalina yelled at Dominique, who was getting dressed for work.
It was Monday, a week after the dinner with the Castillos.
Surprisingly, Kalina and Dominique had been getting along well until now.
"I'm talking to you, Dom," Kalina said, her frustration evident in her tone.
"It's for your own protection, Cherry. Now drop it, because you're not going there," Dominique replied, putting on the cufflinks of his black t-shirt.
He was trying hard to keep his cool and not snap at her, remembering the advice Lorenzo had given him in his study last week. However, Kalina wasn't making it easy.
"Now that I'm up to date about the company," Lorenzo had said, closing the file in front of him, "it's back to you, Dominique."
