"You... you thief!" Mia exclaimed, her eyes flashing with anger as she pulled Kalina protectively to her side. "I knew you were the one who took her. She was supposed to be mine for the night, and you stole her," she accused, glaring daggers at her elder brother, Dominique.
Dominique met her gaze, unfazed. "She's not just another piece of clothing for you to design, Mia," he retorted calmly. "She's my fiancée; she's meant to be by my side."
"That doesn't give you the right to cut our girls' night short!" Mia protested, her hands on her hips, clearly not satisfied with his explanation.
