Chapter 27 - Wooden Men

Billy Doll's eyes flashed with a hint of mischief as it chuckled softly.

The sharp, eerie voice echoed from behind the group.

Everyone was startled and turned around in alarm.

Billy Doll's terrifying face was inches away, its two dark eyes staring intensely at them.

This caused everyone to involuntarily take two steps back in alarm. In the confusion, Bertha even accidentally stepped on Ann's foot.

If it weren't for Arlene steadying Ann, she might have fallen to the ground.

"Don't be nervous, this time the owner of this room will accompany you to play. I wish you all a pleasant game," Billy Doll said, then stepped aside, its expressionless face watching the group.

Bristol looked around, a hint of confusion in his eyes, wondering:

"The whole room, apart from myself and a few players, doesn't have anyone else. Where is the owner of the room that Billy Doll mentioned?"

Others also looked around, realizing there was no one else present, feeling a bit puzzled.

Suddenly, Bristol's pupils shrank, a thought crossing his mind:

"Could it be the child who wrote the diary?"

Just then, a chilling child's voice echoed in the room.

"I'm so happy, there are so many people to play with me again."

Everyone's faces changed drastically as they searched for the source of the voice!

However, to their surprise, the voice didn't seem to come from any specific location, but echoed throughout the entire room.

Each person's expression became filled with fear and confusion!

The innocent laughter of a child seemed to come and go, sometimes behind them, sometimes from the ceiling.

Everyone couldn't help but feel their scalps tingle, their hair standing on end!

Suddenly, a blinding white light emitted from the blackboard!

A seven or eight-year-old boy appeared out of thin air in the room.

All eyes turned to the boy, and the expressions on everyone's faces instantly turned incredibly frightened!

Even the viewers watching the death game broadcast in the livestream were startled by the sudden appearance of the boy on the large screen, expressing their shock!

[What the heck is this monster!]

[I'm so scared, I've decided to buy some adult diapers!]

[To play games with such a creature, you must have a strong mental quality!]

[I think this room is where these players will be buried.]

[So ominous! Looks like I'll have nightmares tonight!]

The boy who suddenly appeared in the room had only a few strands of hair on his head, the rest was all scalp!

His entire head was covered in black-brown scars resembling centipedes, terrifying to the core!

His facial features were even more terrifying compared to his scalp!

His eye sockets were empty, devoid of eyeballs, leaving only two black gaping holes, reminiscent of the discarded dolls on the ground, sending chills down one's spine.

What was eerie was that despite having no eyes, blood tears kept flowing from his dark eye sockets!

His mouth was cruelly sewn shut with needles and thread, the crooked lines looking exceptionally dreadful!

"One, two, three, four, five, six, so many people to play with me again," the boy's mouth, sewn shut with needles and thread, moved open and closed, yet he could clearly utter every word!

The group's eyes were filled with horror as they looked at the terrifying and repulsive boy before them, sending shivers down their spines.

For a moment, no one dared to make a sound, and the room seemed so quiet that you could almost hear a pin drop.

"I'm so lonely, this time you all will stay here with me," the boy said.

"It's so rare to see so many people this time. Before, there were only one or two people who came here."

In the room, the boy seemed not to care about the silence of the group, and he danced around more and more excitedly as he spoke.

His sealed mouth slowly tore open, and the bloody red liquid flowed down his mouth, making him look even more terrifying.

"Let's play '1-2-3 Wooden Men'," he said.

"The rules are simple. I will randomly count a few numbers, then suddenly stop and turn around. At that moment, you must not move."

"Otherwise, if I catch anyone moving..."

The boy deliberately dragged out his words, then paused for a few seconds before continuing:

"There will be consequences."

"Of course, if you win, I will give you the key."

The viewers in the livestream room, who were originally quite excited, started to complain as soon as they heard it was a wooden men game!

[What the heck, looks so terrifying but playing such a childish game! Unbelievable!]

[I got all excited for nothing, turns out it's just a hollow shell!]

[I think it's not that simple. Didn't he say there would be consequences for losing?]

[Besides, playing a game with something so terrifying, who can handle it?]

[Yeah, just seeing him makes my legs shake!]

After hearing the boy's words in the room, everyone looked at each other.

Although everyone was extremely scared, they could only grit their teeth and participate in this game in order to get the key to leave.

"Boom!"

A loud noise!

The entire room's space suddenly expanded infinitely, the distance between all the players and the boy elongating endlessly.

In front of everyone, a yellow line appeared, clearly marked with three large white characters: "100 meters!"

"The game begins."

After the boy said this, he turned his head, facing away from all the players, and began to count!

Bristol looked at the boy's back and noticed a super small red button on it.

Next to the button was a timer, displaying 2 minutes and 59 seconds.

Underneath the button, there was a very blurry line of text that Bristol couldn't read at all!

"That line seems to say, 'Press the button for victory.'"

Arlene, beside Bristol, read the line of text and whispered to him.

Bristol nodded slightly. Seeing that the boy had counted for about ten seconds and still hadn't turned around, he cautiously took two steps forward.

Ann, seeing Bristol move, also quickly took two steps forward.

She firmly believed that as long as she followed Bristol, she would definitely be able to walk out of the death tower alive!

Seeing this, everyone else also moved forward cautiously.

"1-2-3, Wooden Men."

Suddenly, the boy abruptly turned around and looked at everyone.

At the moment they heard his voice, everyone stopped in their tracks, standing quietly in place.
