"Mom...give me a chance to explain, at least."
"What difference it would make? For three years, you keep me worried all the time you are out of the home and when you return there is always your body filled with injuries that greet me. Who knows just like that one day I might end up dying but you would still be unreachable?" Zhao Yuhui bowed her head in exhaustion.
"But look at you! Neither you informed your mother that you would be late nor you felt it necessary to inform the kind of scene you would be shooting!"
Zhao Yuhui looked up at the last sentence and got that her mother knew about what happened.

So that's why her mother was excessively worked up today? How did she always end up getting stuck in such situations? Zhao Yuhui pinched the lines formed on her forehead.
"Mom, Lis-"
"What listen? I know you! You are again going to make some excuse for it! I don't understand why you never consider my worries." Mother Zhao tiredly sat on the edge of the bed by the end as her voice grew low.
Her mother was an exceptionally strong woman but every time it came to her wishes, she get extremely worried.
Zhao Yuhui bit her lip regrettably.
For a while, just the sound of raspy breaths and loud thumping of heart echoed in the room until she approached her mother and got on her knees.
Taking her mother's hand and holding it between her fingers, Zhao Yuhui went softly, "Mom, I am sorry. I didn't mean to worry you but honestly, this time I didn't do it on purpose. We were so busy that even Chen Peiling did not have any time to call you."
"Moreover, I am completely fine. I went unconscious because my body had grown very cold and not because I got any injury."
"What about now, are you still feeling cold?" Mother Zhao asked as she placed her hand on Zhao Yuhui's forehead to check the temperature. "You are lucky that you have a very supportive health that never let you fall sick easily." Mother Zhao spoke coldly. She knew her daughter well. There was no point in scolding her. In the end, she would still do what she wanted to do.
"It has to be otherwise how would I be able to withstand harsh conditions while acting." Zhao Yuhui winked at her mother.
Mother Zhao watched her daughter's determined face helplessly. "Are you completely sure that it is what you want to do for the rest of your life?"
Zhao Yuhui nodded her head and gazed up at her mother with puppy eyes.
"You do know that I am not against you in fulfilling your dreams. But I want your safety. Never get into something from where you can't come out later on."
Zhao Yuhui knew what her mother meant. It wasn't her who she did not believe in but the people that she would be surrounded with. Her mother did not want her to fall into some absurd tricks that usually the actors play to pull another actor down.
"I know, Mom."
"Do you have to go to shoot tomorrow?"
"No, Director Song has given us some time to rest till then I would continue with University."
"Go on, you have already missed your several classes."
Zhao Yuhui yawned as she got up and went to take a night suit from the closet. "Let me take one more day off to rest."
"Good night, Mom! You should go and sleep too." Zhao Yuhui wished before going inside the washroom.
Mother Zhao shook her head as she mumbled, "Good night."

In a luxurious bedroom of a private estate.
"When would grandpa wake up?" Qin Lixin threw the question at the doctor while he stared at the old man who was sleeping peacefully on his bed. The maids standing by the side shivered at his voice but just bent their heads.
It must be the hundredth time that he asked this question. Doctor Li patted the handkerchief on his forehead in defeat as he felt Young Master Qin's voice just getting worse each time he opened his mouth to ask the same thing.
Old Master Su suffered from high blood pressure in the evening for which he had to be rushed to the hospital immediately.
Because there was no family member present near her, Old Madam Su didn't know who to turn to so at the end she called her daughter who was out for a business meeting in France.
"He should be up in the morning. I-I mean it is dawn right now, taking the note of the time when medicine was given to him he should be up after the sun had risen." Doctor Li switched his sentence when he saw Qin Lixin's eyes turning colder.
Qin Lixin pinched the space between his eyebrows, trying to control the outburst. Today was really something! He was called back only because his grandpa had too much fun. But why his day had to be ruined?
Old Master Su grew extremely hyper-active after playing back-to-back victorious games with his group of old buddies due to which his blood pressure went up and soon after he passed out as a result of the series of hormones released that caused an increase in his heart rate.
Old Madam Su approached from behind, "Qin Lixin, sorry for troubling you but I had gotten very scared seeing him suddenly getting unconscious. I didn't know your mother would send you over here."
Qin Lixin sighed and assured his grandmother who sounded apologetic, "Grandma, don't worry about it. It's not any trouble."
As for his grandpa, he would talk to him when he would be up.
"Qin Lixin, your room has been regularly cleaned in your absence so if you don't mind, why don't you stay the night here?" Old Madam Su proposed expectantly and cautiously, keeping his likings and comfort in mind. "Don't worry about that daughter of mine, I would talk to her." She even added in fear that he would use her as an excuse.
