The story behind Freya's Conception
Unable to hold back his excitement, Rowan ran inside the palace, looking for Freya. He found her supervising the maids and quickly dragged her away into the nearest room. Without saying a word, Rowan pressed his lips against Freya's and kissed her deeply. When he pulled back, Freya covered her mouth with her hand.
"It's hot," she shouted, glaring at Rowan. She had clearly asked him not to touch her again.
Rowan rubbed his thumb across her lips. "There's love in sharing, don't you think?" he asked with a mischievous smile. "Father gave me the hottest sauce."
"Father?" Freya asked, narrowing her eyes. Hearing Rowan call her father that was new, but she liked it. She couldn't wait to be family with him. She knew just how hard Rowan had been working to earn her father's approval.
