"Hey," he said, standing up to greet her. "You okay?"
Suzanne sighed, sinking into the chair across from him. "I don't know," she admitted, rubbing her temples. "I just... I don't know what's happening anymore."
David's expression softened as he reached across the table, his hand resting lightly on hers. "You want to talk about it?"
Suzanne nodded, her breath shaky as she exhaled. She had been keeping so much inside, trying to push down the emotions that Andrei had stirred in her. But here, with David, it felt like she could finally let go.
And so, she began. She told him everything—about Andrei's behavior, about the jealousy, about the way he had pushed her aside. She didn't hold back, her voice raw and full of frustration. She didn't expect David to have the answers, but she needed to say it out loud.
