Facing Arthur's challenge, Tristie couldn't help but answer, but couldn't bring herself to fight a kid who wasn't even a first-rank warrior.
Tristie turned back and nodded to a baby-faced young mercenary behind him, "Bernie, go teach him a lesson, just don't kill him."
The mercenary who was named also grinned, fighting a kid for him this wasn't something honorable either, but who asked him to be the lowest in strength out of everyone?
"Mercenary Bernie just became a first rank warrior half a year ago, he is the least powerful of all the mercenaries of Stabbing Blood, don't say that we Stabbing Blood mercenaries are deliberately bullying you!" Tristie explained to Adeline.
Adeline shrugged, signaling that it didn't matter.
Adeline had actually been happy in her heart for a long time, and she thought that Arthur might have thought that his opponent would be a First Order mercenary when he challenged Tristie.
"Wait, I have more to say."
Tristie looked at Arthur with a sneer, "What's the matter kid, you realize you're afraid now? It's already too late! I promise Bernie won't beat you to death later!"
"I was just wondering what you'd do in a minute if I won the fight."
"Are you going to win? That's the funniest joke I've heard all day!"
Arthur said with a serious look on his face, "I mean if, there are always too many accidents in this world."
"So what do you want to do?"
"I want that sword on your belt as a trophy."
"Kid's vision is good, this sword of mine can't be exchanged even if I sell you ten times, what if you lose?"
"Tony is officially on his knees apologizing to you, and he's turning around wherever the Stinging Blood mercenaries show up."
A mouthful of Tony's blood almost didn't come out, "No, I don't agree, this little bastard is purposely trying to hurt me!"
"Haha ..." Tristie let out a loud laugh, but then her face turned cold, "It's not enough! A little man like Tony kneeling is not worth the value of this sword!"
"Tristie you bastard, I'll fight you!" Once again humiliated by Tristie, Tony was out of his mind with rage.
"Plus what about this staff?" Adeline pulled Tony back and pulled out a dark staff that was a foot and three inches long.
It was impossible to tell what the staff was made of, but from the large crystal that flowed with a mysterious luster that was set in one end of the staff, it was clear that the staff was of great value, even above the value of Tristie's longsword.
"No!" Tony and Angus shouted at the same time to stop it.
There was a glint in Tristie's eyes and she nodded gently, "That's only fair, I hope you don't regret it."
Adeline smiled softly, "Let's get started then."
"Go Bernie, if you lose this battle you're out of Stinging Blood!"
Arthur had attracted the attention of all the mercenaries in the bar when he challenged Tristie just now, and now as soon as he was ready to make his move quite a few of them had gathered around.
There were also quite a few mercenaries who sat in place and didn't move, in their opinion this fight was meaningless. A first rank warrior's strength was at least three times that of an ordinary person, and that skinny kid was at best about ten years old, a first rank warrior would be able to kill the kid directly with one punch.
This kind of one-on-one duel didn't need a formal venue at all, and a few tables in the center were moved to the side to clear a modest space.
"I don't bully children, you make the first move." The mercenary Bernie's face turned red, it really wasn't an honorable thing to fight a child under the watchful eyes of so many old mercenaries.
Arthur didn't answer, leaning down slightly and staring at Bernie with a wolf-like gaze.
Killing aura! It was the kind of killing aura that a wild beast would suddenly erupt only at the moment of hunting!
There was a slight commotion among the mercenaries gathered around, how could such a young child have such a heavy killing aura on him? Many old mercenaries who had seen blood did not have this kind of aura on them.
No one knows what Arthur went through during those two years in the orc camp?
Tristie clenched his fists tightly, he suddenly had an uneasy feeling.
Arthur moved, and like a baby panther, he slammed his head into Bernie's abdomen.
Bernie slightly retreated his steps and swung a leg, like a whip viciously toward Arthur's body. This kick, if it hit, could send Arthur flying straight away.
Arthur's forward motion lurched and rolled to the side in the direction of Bernie's kick.
Bernie's leg kick was empty, and as he landed on one foot, he leaned forward and swung his fist down to strike Arthur's body. Bernie's fist was wrapped in a faint white light and swung with a faint wind sound.
Arthur leapt forward against the ground, dodging Bernie's attack again.
Two attacks in a row fell short and Bernie's face turned even redder. Bernie pointed his toes on the ground and rose up in the air, grabbing Arthur from above with an Eagle Wrestling Rabbit move, leaving Arthur unable to dodge.
Like a greasy fox, Arthur leapt forward and rolled for a moment to hide under the table.
Bernie raised his foot and shattered the tabletop with a kick, sending wood shavings flying in all directions. Arthur lunged at Bernie's side against the spattering wood chips.
Bernie turned his body on the axis of his left foot, and the foot he had just dropped swung up again and delivered a quick and swift whip kick to Arthur, who was close to him.
"Twenty silver coins." Nightingale suddenly shouted.
Bernie's body swayed and nearly fell.
Arthur took advantage of Bernie's unsteady body weight and slammed his head into Bernie's side of the waist.
Bernie took two or three steps back and threw punches forward in succession before forcing back Arthur, who had taken the opportunity to pounce.
The surrounding mercenaries were in an uproar, although there was the factor of the Nightingale's sudden voice distracting Bernie's attention, a child being able to force back a first-ranked warrior was an incredible thing in itself.
Tristie coldly looked at Nightingale, "Don't worry, big sister Nightingale, no matter how many things are broken, I will pay you back every cent."
The Nightingale didn't give Tristie the slightest bit of face and grunted softly, "Just to give you guys a heads up, anyone who breaks anything is going to have to pay for it!"
Tony tugged gently on Adeline's sleeve for a moment and lowered his voice, "Did you already know he could win?"
"Have you forgotten the last time he fought that little lion? He has a talent for fighting far beyond the norm, some people are born to be fighters, and that's the real reason Cairns kept him!"
While the two men were whispering, Bernie and Arthur were already fighting again.
Because of the murmurings of the mercenaries around him, Bernie had gone into a complete rage and attacked Arthur frantically.
But anger was not enough to give Bernie the victory, and Arthur remained as slippery as a loach, scurrying around and dodging left and right in the limited space available, looking unusually lumbering, but not letting Bernie hit himself even once.
The fierce attacks were rapidly consuming Bernie's physical strength and fighting qi, and his breathing was becoming heavier and heavier.
The palms of Tristie's clenched fists had begun to sweat.
"Could this child really be able to defeat a first rank warrior? Impossible, absolutely impossible!" Tristie shook her head violently.
The turn in the battlefield came at exactly the right time.
Facing a head-on kick from Bernie, Arthur deftly jumped like a monkey onto the table behind him.
Bernie followed up with a kick that shattered the table, long ago he didn't care how much damage was done, every attack was made with all his strength, the obsession in his mind was to beat Arthur to death in one fell swoop!
Arthur had used his strength to jump when Bernie kicked the table and lunged through the air at Bernie.
Bernie did not duck or dodge to meet Arthur with a punch, wrapped in white fighting gas light of the iron fist blasted to Arthur's chest.
Arthur, surprisingly, didn't dodge this time, but simply sidestepped his body slightly in the air.
Bernie's eyes lit up with delight and his hand once again increased in strength, only to hear a crunch as the fist struck Arthur's left shoulder blade.
At the same time Bernie hit Arthur, Arthur's right hand formed a claw and swung out lightning fast across Bernie's eyes.
Arthur is sent flying backwards, a mournful scream rings out at the same time ...
