In an instant, Marius shattered the barrier using only his fist. As he did, he raised his leg and brought it down with the force of an anvil, crushing Rune's jaw.
Over and over.
Upon realizing that Rune was still breathing, Marius summoned his Bone Spear and delivered a lethal blow by piercing his head and penetrating his brain.
Ayla quickly picked up a nearby towel and walked over. "Here you go, hero." She handed it over.
Marius, feeling utterly worn out, wearily reached for the towel and started wiping the blood and sweat off his body, all while muttering to himself:
"We gotta get the fuck out of here."
Understanding that the noise of the fight may have alerted others, Marius was certain that guards would quickly converge on the location, and he wanted to steer clear of any legal trouble, as he couldn't afford to make enemies of the entire Holy Kingdom.
