Night greeted the village of the first hero. The villagers go inside their homes and the only ones outside are the few people guarding the village.
Apart from the village gate, there were 4 guard posts in the cardinal directions.
At each guard post, there were 2 men on guard, including Ardi who guarded the post at the village gate.
Ardi yawned slightly. "Miss Alice must have been eating with the elf right now."

In the dining room that was simple but large enough to accommodate 5 people including 1 wolf.
A plate of raw meat was placed on the floor not far from the dining table. That plate was reserved for Noir.
While the wolf ate the raw meat, the five chairs were filled with people preparing for dinner.
One large plate contained pieces of grilled meat that looked dark and crispy on the outside but light and tender on the inside.
