Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Elite, Frenzied Blood Spirits

In the early morning light, Qin Muye was inspecting the 100 elite troops, now equipped with a full set of standard weapons and renamed as "Frenzied Blood Spirits," inheriting the powerful and bloodthirsty nature.

[Introduction: Never before has a magician granted such strength to spirits. With the extreme attributes of a 1st tier unit combined with this set of standard artifacts, even 2nd tier elites might not be their match. In desperate situations, these 1st tier elites can stand up against 2nd tier elites.]

After becoming elite, these one hundred Frenzied Blood Spirits clad in thick armor emitted a strong aura of killing intent and blood. The bloody atmosphere and murderous intent even made Qin Muye's scalp tingle.

The prefix had changed as well; from Blood Energy Spirits to Frenzied Blood Spirits. This was quite normal since only Bloodblood could train them. It was an exclusive unit for this blood-soaked warrior.

Especially with the active skill Bloodthirsty Fury, even though it exchanged 1 HP for 1 Attack, the Elemental Resonance skill made it essentially 1 HP for 2 Attack.

With the limited four-piece set, Qin Muye reinforced the spirits with 5 Defense, making a formidable Defense of 14 to withstand attacks.

"Well then, arrange for guard duty, and then rest. We have to face the monster siege at noon today," Qin Muye ordered. After issuing the command, he disbanded all the units, letting them rest.

Qin Muye needed some rest as well. From yesterday until now, as a Lord, he accompanied the spirits, occasionally casting healing spells to ensure that intense training did not result in injuries.

Now it was around 6 to 7 in the morning. Even if he didn't need to rest, standing there was tiring. His physical condition had not changed much. He was still the weak scholar with no strength in his hands. Moreover, there was a tough battle to be fought at noon, so pushing himself too much now might backfire.

When he went to sleep, he opened the trading post and browsed through it. There wasn't much that caught his eye—mostly miscellaneous items with quite expensive price tags, likely listed by the top-ranked players.

"Still need iron ore... Most of the materials here are stones; there's no way to forge equipment."

He calculated: 1 unit of iron ore could produce 1 piece of standard equipment. If fully operational, he could produce at least 100 pieces of equipment daily. That was a considerable number.

[Blacksmith LV1: For every stationed unit with enough materials, can produce 10 basic artifacts daily, limit (0/100)]

[Currently available]

[Standard Helmet: 1 unit of iron ore]

[Standard Armor: 1 unit of iron ore]

[Standard Shield: 1 unit of iron ore]

[Standard Longsword: 1 unit of iron ore]

[Standard...]

There were only three types of armor, but weapons included everything from knives and spears to swords and halberds, all priced uniformly at 1 unit of iron ore.

Qin Muye then started looking in the points shop for resource buildings that produced iron ore. He found one, belonging to the common resources branch instead of the special resources, called "Mine."

Consuming only 500 points, he quickly exchanged and learned it. He then built two of them in his territory. Since construction took time and they also needed rest, he planned to let the spirits rest and start producing iron ore after successfully defending against the monster siege.

If everything went smoothly, staying up all night could potentially produce 100 pieces of equipment. Even if only 40 were achieved, Qin Muye could recruit 10 more spirits tomorrow, which would still be excellent.

Apart from that, there were quite a few resource-producing buildings, such as the Hunter's Hut, which produced fur and food. Fur could be made into equipment artifacts like leather armor, robes, gloves, etc. Other buildings, such as the Forest Camp, could increase wood production, and the Mill could boost food production.

However, there were no derived buildings for special resources.

"If this goes well, I'll try to get all the resource-type building blueprints and the entire supply chain of industries."

Resources were crucial, and industries like tailors, blacksmiths, etc., were essential for generating income. For example, he still needed shoes, lining, gloves, etc., for his spirits. Unfortunately, these weren't available in the shop. Moreover, in the future, he would need essential items like cotton clothes and quilts. Currently, the weather was fine, but it wouldn't stay that way forever.

Additionally, now that he had a market, he needed a large number of materials to establish his own trade. Otherwise, where would the gold coins come from?

"Once I wake up, I'll recruit the remaining spirits with all the remaining gold coins. There's no rush; a little more time won't make a difference."

Looking at the remaining 30,000 gold coins, Qin Muye would have thought it was a lot before, but now, it wasn't much. It wouldn't withstand any calamities.

He understood that in his Spirits Workshop, there were still 459 spirits. That meant he would need 45,900 gold coins.
