On the fourth day, Blood Magic, accompanied by three spirits, left the mage tower to raid.
After a night of explanation, although Blood Magic's attribute panel hadn't changed, it had already mastered Bloodthirsty Fury and numerous combat skills. It was estimated that tonight, it would completely grasp all the techniques in the "Berserker Training Manual."
From this, it could be seen that intermediate academics not only allowed the mutual teaching and learning of magic but also enabled the teaching of non-"Lords' Epoch" skills, significantly boosting the learning progress of the recipient.
"I hope today's gains will satisfy me. It would be great if I could obtain another job transfer certificate or a magic scroll. Of course, if there's a blueprint for a basic building, that would be even better."
After establishing five spirit workshops, Qin Muye naturally recruited all the spirits, a total of 50, costing him 1500 gold coins. However, it was worth it.
He assigned 10 spirits to the lumberyard and the remaining 39 to farming and water gathering. Qin Muye also had his own work: researching the remaining spirit.
Choosing spirits as his core unit, Qin Muye was confident in this investment, especially considering the feedback from Blood Magic. The Magic Eye continuously observed the flow of magic within the spirit, referencing both the "Spirit Experiment Manual" and the "Berserker Training Manual" for further research.
Qin Muye's simple idea was to improve the Bloodthirsty Fury ability. Originally, it burned blood for a temporary strength boost, but he wondered if it could be replaced with magic.
He needed paper and pen to record data. Although he had no worries about food and drink, resources like wood and stone, as well as special resources, were still lacking.
Moreover, without a record of his experimental data, he felt passive. Now, his research was relatively basic, but in the future, if he lacked records, it would be problematic.
Currently, Qin Muye planned to focus on logistics and quickly get the resources on track.
As for going out to raid for resources himself? Absolutely not. He had no knowledge of tactics, command, or even basic wilderness observation. Going out for a raid, even with Bloodthirsty Sorcery and Magic God Arrow, would likely be challenging.
With only 72 magic points, he could handle a few waves of monsters at most. Wasting time outside wouldn't be as productive as staying in the mage tower for research. Not to mention, he didn't want to burden Blood Magic.
As the day gradually darkened, it turned out to be another day. Today was perhaps the most comfortable day for Qin Muye, as he didn't have to venture outside. Blood Magic returned, having reached level 3, and the harvest seemed good, especially in terms of attributes.
In terms of skills, there were notable improvements. Primary Attack Technique became Intermediate Attack Technique, and a new skill was added, likely chosen by Blood Magic.
[Intermediate Attack Technique: Increases melee attack damage by 20%]
[Primary Tactic: Marching Speed +10%, Command Effect +10%]
Both skills were excellent. If leveled up, the strength of the unit would increase significantly. The increase in Attack Technique not only applied to Blood Magic's melee attack but also affected the unit.
The harvest from Blood Magic was substantial, with basic resources totaling nearly 3000 units. They seemed to have found a dungeon, but Qin Muye didn't inquire further. Special resources were also close to a hundred, showing much higher efficiency.
Additionally, he obtained blueprints for two basic buildings: a Quarry and a Gold Mine. Like the Lumberyard, these would each consume 10 units of a specific material for one unit of a specific resource, with a limit of 10 units.
Seizing this opportunity, Qin Muye immediately built two Quarries, two Gold Mines, one Lumberyard, and four spirit workshops.
Out of the 100 spirits, 60 were assigned to the lumberyard, quarry, and gold mine, and the remaining 35 were assigned to farming.
Qin Muye had his own plans, focusing on researching the remaining spirit. He wanted to improve the Bloodthirsty Fury ability and explore whether magic could replace blood for the short-term strength boost.
One of the significant gains was a Fire Apprentice Magic Book, a primary-level magic book that recorded two Level 1 fire spells: Bloodthirsty Sorcery and Cursed Infliction.
The magic book couldn't be boosted by strength and lacked growth potential. However, for Qin Muye, it was quite useful. He could self-learn the spells, then teach them to Blood Magic through academic transfer, turning fixed values into growable skills.
There were also three primary artifacts: a standard helmet, a ring called Sight Ring, and the Fire Apprentice Magic Book. Qin Muye only took the magic book, leaving the helmet to be used by the farming spirits as a water-carrying vessel, and giving the Sight Ring to Blood Magic.
Apart from these gains, there were some seeds for grains and fruits.
"Another day, and I should be able to gather enough wood and ore to repair the mage tower."
