The last thing Xyler or Zero heard was the voice of the darkness within him. Then Xyler was boosted out of Zero's mind and the two repealed off of each other right in front of Kai.
"What the-?!" Kai shouted.
Xyler slid back several feet from the push back and Zero was knocked off his feet. Kai looked between the two of them with a layered expression.
"What in the hell was that just now?"
Zero was on all fours as he attempted to catch his breath and tame his wild mind. Xyler held his chest as he also seemed to have the need to steady his breathing.
"Zero." Xyler spoke up. "You mind explaining what that was??" He had never seen a person's subconscious act in such a volatile manner to the point that it would actually attack someone within that realm of space.
