The door was opened. All Zero needed was the two of them to walk inside.
I can't mess this up! Zero thought. No one else is going to come down here - after the Vipers, I doubt they're going to share any information about this place with other players.
Zero could hear their footsteps outside as they walked around the outside area. Zero figured they were probably looking for another way in so that they didn't have to face whatever was inside head on.
"Oh, I have another brilliant idea." A female voice sounded from outside.
"Hopefully not one that almost breaks my back this time." Her companion gripped.
"Shut it." There was a pause. "Multiply."
Zero raised an eyebrow. An invocation?
Suddenly a thin shadow was cast between the partially open doors and he could hear footsteps approaching.
