Aubrey couldn't contain her excitement as she watched the news about Kiara spread like wildfire on the internet. She felt a sense of satisfaction, knowing that her plan was working. And she knew that the best was yet to come.
"I trust you, Aubrey," Lucky said from the driver's seat. "I know you won't let me down." He kept his eyes on the road, his expression neutral.
"I think her spirit must be weeping at the way her image has been destroyed," Aubrey said, popping her gum. "Her reputation is ruined, and even if she were still alive, I doubt she could ever recover from this." Aubrey seemed to be savoring the moment, like a cat toying with a mouse.
"The bloggers are really going all out," Lucky said, pulling the car to a stop. "They're not holding back." He turned to look at Aubrey, a sly smile playing on his lips.
