"Give it one more day. Your attending doctor told me you still need to rest," Chester replied with a sweet smile that was hard to resist.
I stared at him with pleading eyes, hoping to change his mind. But he just laughed it off. "Just think of it as an opportunity to spend more time with your future husband," he teased.
I rolled my eyes playfully, but deep down, I couldn't help but feel excited. In just two months, Chester would become my official husband. Maybe then, Andrew would finally leave me alone. Why was I even thinking about Andrew at a time like this? I shook my head to dismiss the thought.
