I couldn't help but let out a bitter smile. "Yeah, I know. You need my shares. You've made that abundantly clear," I retorted sarcastically. The elevator doors opened, and I walked towards my car, ready to leave. As I opened the door to the driver's seat and started the engine, I was taken aback when the passenger side door swung open.
My eyes widened with disbelief. "What do you think you're doing?" I blurted out, my voice filled with surprise.
Andrew casually seated himself as if nothing happened. He nonchalantly fastened his seatbelt and said, "I need a ride."
"You don't need a ride. Your office is right next to this building!" I raised my voice, growing increasingly suspicious of his intentions.
"My car broke down. Give me a ride home," he commanded, his tone unwavering.
"I don't have time for you. Get out!" I pushed his shoulder, trying to assert my boundaries.
