Chapter 2 - Hello Akina,

"Akina!" , Akina turned her head, knowing who it was as she was squatting beside the pond, her long black neatly kept, glossy hair floating in the wind, as she stood up, and ran towards Katie with a smile on her face, It was quiet, for the past four months Katie has been checking in on Akina, and discovered that Grandfather Pim is the only who protects, and takes care of her, along with an older lady named Mrs. Dawn, who he is having an affair with, as for Kate sadly she has gotten an upper hand, in getting him to sleep with her, slowly he is getting worse as Kate continues to use Akina against him.

She tries to pretend not to see the look on his face, as while she's smiling, and happy, he looks at her with so much sadness, and resentment ,Kate, and Katie are not as close anymore, Katie was correct, the child her mother is carrying will be, and is the biggest priority, as her grandparents have already started to show how much she is irritating them, whether she's speaking to them, or is just in the room.

Since her plan to stay out the house, and away from her mother, Katie has been sneaking to play with Akina, she has learned that even the prettiest flowers can carry the deadliest poison, Katie always wondered, they never cared enough to make sure Akina didn't try to leave, in fact they would seem shocked to find her still in the shed, little Akina wasn't as dumb as she looked. She had pretty round brown eyes, a small nose, and at the moment almost everyone, including Kate, is ailing, puking, pale, terrible headache, nose bleeds, and ect.

Which was the work of Akina, she was able to sneak in some berries into their dinner thanks to Katie, who let her in the house, Katie has been letting her in on how her father is doing, angered by May's intentions, and actions she added the berries to their menu for a week, even though Katie did help her, she's decided it may be a good idea not to tell her what her mother is planning.

The grandmothers thought it would be less work on them just to bring her rotten, and old food, Akina became sick, which it took a month for her to get better, and only because Katie came to save her, finding out why she became sick, she started eating plants instead, and Katie would sometimes bring her meat "Akina... why do you stay?" Katie finally asked her, "I am here for father's sake, I am here for your sake, with everything they're doing now, if father knew I left there's no telling what he'd do to you, and your mother, even though you are no longer a problem to him, the main reason for the marriage was because you needed a father, and though that wasn't what you wanted, in his mind set once I am gone, he will have only one mission" Akina explained, Katie nodded, "That is true, at the moment you are alive, and here so you're the most important to your father, your mother in her glass grave, would want you to be safe" Katie replied.

"But I'd have to get rid of her, to be able to leave, Katie" Akina said, causing Katie to look up at her, "W...What did you say, Akina?" she asked, Akina who was zoning out, she blinked, turning towards Katie, and smiled, "Oh it's nothing, it's nothing, I'm just babbling is all'' she replied, as she stood up, and walked towards the end of the pond, Katie just watched her, knowing there was a meaning to what she said, but getting the gut feeling that she shouldn't question any further. "Akina Thort you are a mystery, a mystery I do not want to solve, for I fear you are you capable of following in Aunt Akiko's steps?" Katie said to herself watching Akina look out to the field, her hair was flowing in the wind, so long, so glossy and beautiful, she looked so much like her mother standing there, but while Akiko gave a sweet feeling, recently the more Katie tells her about her father, the more she wants to keep a little distance between her and Akina, out of... fear?

TIMESKIP- Three weeks

"This is where she lives?" the maid nodded her head, Kate walked along the dirt path, and just as she was told, the outside of Akina's hut was terrible, she looked calm, but inside she was panicking, she had an argument with Katie, the last thing Katie said, hit them like a storm, she really was being selfish at this point, not to think about that possibility.

"You said he can't care about Akina, , okay but why did you think that would mean he would love the two of us, if he no longer cares about them, you will have nothing to keep him from leaving right? plus Akina this, Akina that, he never stops talking about her, what makes you think he would forget her so soon, are you going to wait forever for him to love you?! he didn't spare me when I was a child, when I was only three! what makes you think he'll spare that baby you want so bad, what makes you think that? what makes you think he won't kill all of us if Akina is finally gone!!?"

Kate did in fact hate hearing about Akina, from him every day, even on the forced dates she's make him go on he'd mention them, but she is the only way she can spend time with him, without him trying to kill her, and looking into her soul with such disgust, so Kate came to look for Akina, but....

"Where is she?!"
