Chapter 15: The Waters Should Never Be Messed With
"Did he just say he accepts Williams?" Lily felt like she hadn't heard him correctly.
"Yes, child. I just accepted the bond. I mean who am I to interrupt or disrupt my precious granddaughter's love affairs? I want the best for you dear." Grandfather cleared them.
"Ahhhhh!!!!!" Lily shrieked in excitement as she got up from her seat and pounced on Grandfather Waters, giving him the deepest hug she could think of at that point. "Thank you so much, Grandfather. Look, I'm well now. I promise I'm getting back to work first thing tomorrow and stronger than I ever was."
"That's my girl." he praised and touched her hair. Lily already had tears in her eyes and he could see it. He felt a tinge of regret knowing that his disapproval was part of her being down for some time. He thought it would be best if he kept acting better than he had been doing.
