(M) Main Protagonist's Point Of View
"SILENCE! STAY PUT, TURN AROUND, DON'T YOU DARE ACT STUPID!!!"
I realized that I was late in taking my medication, so its effects had already worn off as it was time, and unfortunately, I forgot and left it at the café. But this incident wasn't solely because the effects had worn off; it was the man's emotions growing stronger and darker.
This... this was no longer caution, it was FEAR... FEAR BORN FROM EXPERIENCE.
Initially, his emotions were cautious, then they turned into suspicion, which eventually evolved into fear. And fear is dangerous in various scenarios. Whether it's from intuition or what?
Quickly, the person began searching through Iswara's pants pocket.
"What's this? DAMN, MY SUSPICION WAS RIGHT, YOU'RE POLICE OFFICERS!!!" he exclaimed.
"Excuse me... but not me, hehe... listen, sir, I have nothing to do with the women next to me, and I hope you calm dow..."
"KNEEL, BOTH OF YOU, KNEEL!!!" he demanded sharply.
"But, sir..." I said.
"NO BUTS, KNEEL!!!" Reflexively, I knelt. But in the midst of this tension, this woman...?
"YOU HEAR ME, I SAID KNEEL DOWN!! YES, KNEEL DOWN!!" She remained calm with a bullet hole aimed directly at the back of his head.
"Hey... hey Iswara, what's wrong with you...?" I whispered.
"KNEEL, I SAID!" he demanded, with his fingers poised to pull the trigger.
With a long exhale, she began to kneel. BBut when his knees were about to touch the floor...
Swiftly, his hand grabbed the wrist of the man holding the guns. Then, with the leg that was almost kneeling, PACKKKK!!!
With extreme, overwhelming strength, she kicked the man's "Jewel of Manhood," then, WUSSSH!!!
With his eyes almost popping out of his mask, Iswara flung him into the air.
In a flash, She caught the man's head with one hand and, BRRRKKK!!!
she slammed him back to the ground without mercy, with his head hitting the floor first, causing the man to automatically lose consciousness.
Who knows which pain the man felt first before his consciousness slipped away from him, leaving him no chance to scream. Perhaps this is the true manifestation of suffering in silence.
Seeing that, I was undoubtedly stunned. Even in any martial art, there's never been such a brutal technique. But what surprised me even more was that the technique not only didn't exist, but it also wasn't possible! In the real world, with such a disproportionate mass, she wasn't just fighting this man but also fight the laws of physics. I wonder what Isaac Newton would have to say about this...?
"Annoying bastard. hey are you hurt? Hide over there to avoid getting hurt... hey...hey, are you still there?" she asked, looking in my direction, she asked, looking in my direction, I was still shaken by the recent situation.
"Hahh... ohh yeah..?"
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Hahh, I'm fine, just shocked. I mean, WOAH! WHAT REALLY HAPPENED EARLIER?" I said.
"Enough, don't make too much noise if you don't want trouble. Go hide over there and don't get too involved. And Act like an ordinary civilian." She repeated, adjusting his shirt.
"Moreover, who would want to intervene? It's too risky for someone like me." I said. Then the detective checked the man he had just subdued, took his pistol, and removed his mask.
"Do you know this guy?" I asked curiously, squatting beside him.
"Damn! Your Just shocked me." he muttered.
"Hehh... Turns out you can still be surprised. So do you recognize this guy...?" I continued.
"...," she remained silent, not answering anything.
"Hey... I'm asking you, Miss?"
"You said you wanted to leave, so why are you still here?"
Huh, a diversion...? But what do I care.
"Yes, yes, there's no need to get angry. I'll leave now. I suppose I'm just not cut out for this kind of thing..."
In the end, I decided to leave. Then I decided to hide in a toy store while waiting for the coast to clear. Until I saw red traces resembling blood. On the floor of the store, as I followed them, something shocking happened...
"D-DON'T MOVE... I WARN YOU, DON'T EVEN TRY TO MOVE!!!"
Meanwhile, outside.
"Beep... Beep... The number you have dialed is currently unavailable or out of reach..." the sound of a cellphone.
"How is it? Can you get through?" Anggi asked, attempting to make a call.
"I'm still trying," Fajar replied.
"beep... beep... The number you're... ;DAMN!!"
"What's happening?" Livy asked, worried.
Then, accompanied by the sound of sirens, police cars and anti-terror special units arrived. Blockades and police lines were quickly set up, and then someone stepped out of one of the police cars.
"Is everything ready?" someone asked.
"Yes, sir." replied one of the subordinates.
"Remember our priorities. We must not make any mistakes. That's the most important thing now, don't mess up." he said firmly.
"Yes, sir!"
Anggi approached the crowd and asked a police officer there.
"Excuse me, officer, who is in charge here?" then catching the attention of the person.
"Hey what's up, Newbie ?" He said.
"Detective Diaz !? " Anggi was surprised.
"Ohh yeah, where's the gloomy face that's always beside you? You two are usually a pair, right? "
"I don't know until when you'll keep saying that to me, but that's not important now. Why are you here considering this isn't your jurisdiction?" Anggi responded
"Ohh hoho... The little one is angry and daring to defy, huh? It's obvious, I'm working. You see this chaos in front of you, who else is going to handle it?" he said proudly.
"What is this? Don't tell...!!!" Anggi exclaimed.
"Yes... it's not too difficult to guess, right?"
"The case that you and your superiors have been working on for months with zero results... will soon be resolved by me and my partner."
"Hahh Partner? Aren't you usually just taking over other people's cases, claiming their hard work as your own efforts? Then who would want to partner with someone like that?" Anggi said fiercely.
"Watch your little mouth,kid... The truth is, the case can be resolved because of me, because others are too foolish to solve it. Moreover, this time I'm not alone on this assignment. You could say I'm partnering with an important figure in the police force right now. Anyway... there's no point in explaining to a newbie like you." he said as he walked away towards a car in front of him.
"Mr. Agam!" Anggi exclaimed in surprise. The man appeared gallant, with a handsome face, firm, and perhaps dark blue hair, parted in the middle. He was wearing a leather jacket and jeans.
"Oh, the newbie is back. You seem a bit surprised. Allow me to introduce this great man in front of you, Agam Hasibuan, (The Great Protector) from the police force. Agam, meet the newbie," Diaz arrogantly introduced.
"Step aside." the man said, brushing off Diaz's hand.
"What are you doing here?" he asked flatly.
"It's you, sir. Why are you here?" Anggi asked.
"As you can see, I've been assigned to handle the issues in front of you," he replied.
"I understand, but why do you have to be with this person?" Anggi questioned.
"Hahaha... How naive. You shouldn't be asking that question to us. But, what's clear is that we're here to finish the job that you and your partner couldn't handle." Diaz said arrogantly.
"Everything's ready, sir." a police officer said to Diaz.
"Alright... when it's done, let the professionals do their work." Diaz said arrogantly, then left them.
"I'm leaving now." said Agam.
"Wait, Detective, there's something I need to tell you," Anggi said, recounting what had happened.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!! Damn... How could she be there?" he exclaimed.
"Just as I said, everything happened by chance and unexpectedly. We also had no idea this would happen," Anggi said with worried.
Suddenly, a voice came from their communication device. Quickly, they headed towards Diaz and the crowd of police officers guarding the blockade.
"Where's Diaz?" Anggi asked a police officer.
"Detective Diaz is preparing to negotiate, sir," the officer replied.
"WHAT...!!!"
