The rain poured relentlessly, each drop adding a somber note to the evening's symphony. The wind joined in, echoing the requiem and reminding us of nature's untamed power. Amidst the downpour, a figure lay motionless, the once-vibrant life now extinguished. The heavens wept, their tears mingling with the puddles that formed around the silent form.
Gracillia's heart ached as she watched Arin's brave but ultimately unsuccessful attack on Malgrave. Surprise showed on her face, quickly replaced by a surge of desperation. She strained against her own battered body, willing it to move, to protect—anything but lie there helplessly. Unbidden tears streamed from her eyes, a silent testament to her anguish.
Each drop mirrored the rain, blurring her vision as she watched the blood seep from Arin's face. Powerless, she lay there, her spirit crying out in silent fury, her only hope resting on the faint whisper of strength returning to her limbs.
"I would love to know why a beast kept a man-child with her not that I need to know "Showing a disinterested look he shrugged his shoulders and continued
and with a mocking gaze commented"I did not even need to move my hand to defeat you, Are all lord beasts this weak let just finish this all "
listening to him Gracillia moved her body if she was in her best condition she would have finished both of them in a few seconds.
" You still have the power to move let me fix it for you," he said with a surprised face and moved his hand taking out a small knife from his pocket
just as he starts to move near Gracillia to end her life
" Growl " All the bear cubs inside the cave came out
" hahaha " laughing manically Malgrave commented with an excited face
" There are still others then I should start by first silencing them "
Arin who lay motionless on the ground suddenly moved as he listened to the voice of the bear as he opened his eyes it was not the same anymore the green colour covered his all eyes his pupils dilated a figure started to form behind Arin a red figure which was bigger than Gracillia itself.
Slowly it started taking the form of a fairy visible under the rainwater the figure started glowing and suddenly she opened her eyes and everything caught fire spreading the fire around the forest and burning the trees in the surroundings despite rainwater slowly it brightened the whole area.
As Howler saw the rays of light emerging from the forest, he started behaving oddly and went into the shadow of Malgrave. He saw the light emerging from behind Malgrave, which suddenly turned into fire, surrounding the area where Malgrave was standing and leaving no place for a shadow. Suddenly, Howler emerged, but he was burning in the light. Seeing him burning near him, Malgrave kicked Howler, saving himself from getting caught by the fire. slowly whole body of Howler burned leaving nothing behind.
Malgrave was on his knees, shivering when a tamer lost its bond. He suffered from the backlash of losing his summon along with the darkness whose remnants lay inside him and was burned. Currently, he was having the pain he never would have felt.
The fire surrounding the forest didn't burn a single thing and was extinguished but somehow amid all this Gracillia accumulated enough strength to move her body she stood and walked to Malgrave's body seeing him still breathing without hesitation she smashed the head of Malgrave the matter flew around.
Gracillia then moved to Arin but his condition was not good he was blooding from his ears and mouth few burn marks and a tattoo appeared on the top of his chest but one thing was different he was breathing very slowly almost as if his life was on thread.
Suddenly The fairy's gift, a radiant aura that had coursed through his veins, now pulsed with a sinister glow. With each life he took, the blessing's light dimmed, replaced by a creeping shadow that threatened to consume him.
Arin's breaths grew shallow, his once vibrant eyes now dulled. The magic that had been his salvation was now his doom. He could feel his life force ebbing away, a price paid for wielding the fairy's power with such deadly intent.
The air around him crackled with dark energy, a stark reminder of the fine line between a blessing and a curse. Arin's thoughts turned to Gracillia and the motherly love she had shown him as he staggered through the battlefield.
The darkness shrouded his heart. With each step, his strength waned, His eyes changed color to a dark black with a light shadow of white and red. and he knew he must find a way to reverse the curse or succumb to its fatal embrace.
Gracilla stepped back as suddenly Gracillia's instincts screamed for her to step forward, to shield Arin from the unknown force that now seemed to emanate from him. Yet, she retreated, her paws stepping back as the earth beneath Arin betrayed its nature. Where life once thrived, now only a blackened void spread, cracks webbing out like dark veins within a meter's radius.
Her eyes, wide with a mix of fear and concern, locked onto Arin's. His gaze was a tumultuous sea of desperation, a silent plea for help as he fought an internal battle for control. A sudden gust, as if answering his unspoken call, nudged Arin's body. He swayed, a lone reed against the storm's breath, before collapsing. The ground cratered upon his fall, a testament to the unnatural weight of his presence.
Before falls eyes' colors become normal he utters a few words before fall
" Mama it pains"
