Chapter 16 - Naia's Mind

Naia had no idea just how deeply she was being misunderstood. 

She just looked fondly at the handsome creature whose green eyes had a similar shade to Caspian's.

When she was playing with her fish friends, she turned her head to see him watching her. She saw his expression and felt that he was in a bad mood. 

Naia had seen him as an important friend, so she naturally wanted him to feel better.

She latched on to him at first—incredibly dependent—because he was the first person to help her in that time of confusion. She could also feel the kindness in him, and she knew he would not harm her. But now, it wasn't the only reason. 

It was mostly because this person made her feel a lot of goodwill, and made her feel good—like Caspian did. She also liked him very much. She naturally didn't want him to be sad.
